Who is the most powerful actor based on the roles they've played?
Posted by Scruffy on 3/6/16 at 7:17 pm02
The premise of this thread is pretty simple.
So, if you take the roles portrayed by the actor, who is the strongest overall?
By this, I mean who's characters are the most powerful, not who has had the most powerful portrayal.
For example, Ian McKellen has played Gandalf and Magneto. He is pretty damn powerful.
Morgan Freeman has played God so he would win against pretty much anyone and I think we should disregard the role of God in the challenge.

Chuck Norris
I think Ian McKellen would defeat Chuck Norris.

Keanu Reeves: Neo, John Wick, Constantine
Figured I would go with something different

If the Captain Marvel/Shazam movie happens The Rock will have played both Hercules and Black Adam.
Mash those two together and you have one bad mofo.
If you want to add to that he was also a mutated space marine in Doom and the Scorpion King monster from The Mummy 2.

Though we haven't seen an exhibition of his power, I imagine Josh Brolin's Thanos will be mad strong.

Matt Damon's is pretty cool:
Genius janitor with elite combat skills, who weirdly is a fallen angel seeking a way into heaven in New Jersey.
If we're doing some without super powers

Funny enough, Hayden Christensen would be a good one.
Anakin Skywalker
No. He wouldn't. He played pussy bitch untrained Anakin. James Earl Jones played badass master Darth Vader.

Robert De Niro
Travis Bickle (Taxi Driver)
Max Cady (Cape Fear)
Vito Corleone(Godfather)
Jimmy Conway(Goodfellas)
Al Capone ( The Untouchables)
Micheal Vronsky (Deer Hunter)
Jake La Motta (Raging Bull)
Neil McCauley(Heat)
Sam Rothstein (Casino)
Never mind. I misunderstood to say who has had the most roles as a powerful character.

Ian McKellan was so powerful he turned down the role of Albus Dumblebore
Kevin Spacey as Frank Underwood deserves some consideration.
ETA: Misunderstood the OP as well. Brandon Routh plays Superman and The Atom. You can probably throw him in there.
