Of the big name stars who would make a good Bandit???

The big question is, who would they get to play Fred?

Maybe they will finally answer the question of what is in a Diablo Sandwich.

LINK

1 lb lean ground beef, browned
1 (1 ounce) packet taco seasoning mix (follow directions as to adding water)
1 cup whole kernel corn (frozen or canned)
1 cup diced tomato
lettuce
sour cream
4 burger type buns, toasted

Directions:

1 Combine all ingredients except lettuce and sour cream in a pan for 15 minutes to an hour, the longer the better.

2 Lay out lettuce on bottom of toasted buns, scoop out even amounts of meat mixture onto buns, follow with a dollop of sour cream.

3 Best served with fries and Dr. Pepper.

i'd rather swallow razor blades than see Hollywood remake it.

this, Cannonball Run and Blue's Brothers are films that should never be touched.

Why would Hollywood do this?????

You obviously aren't very familiar with Hollywood.
I'm surprised it took them this long.

And lulz at anyone that thinks Clooney or Pitt would actually be in this (unless the Coens were making it).

This should not be messed with.
Even if you could replace the Bandit, Frog, and the Snowman, there is no way, no way you could ever come close to getting a decent Sherrif Justice thats half as good as Jackie Gleason.
I'm going home and kick your momma in da butt.

"What we're dealing with here is a complete lack of respect for the law."

"We ain't got no time for that crap!"

"The Bandit ain't nothin'. . . he's a mental case!"

Please Hollywood, don't frick with this. Why don't you come up with some original movie concepts instead of ripping off the classics?

I think Norm Macdonald could pull off the Bandit.

Pitt- would have the wry sense of humor and charm.
Depp- the man can be anyone and could probably pull it off.
Downey Jr.- Like Pitt has humor and charm
Hugh Jackman- be a stretch but possible

Can't believe we're on page two and nobody said Matthew McConaughey. After the homage he paid to BR in EdTV.

Get your raggedy little Steven Segal-lovin' asses outta here.
"Who is this?" It's Burt Reynolds!

He can dye his hair and grow his own mustache. Burt was 41 when he made S&TB, Matt is 43.

If he can play a uber cool guy like Wooderson, he can play The Bandit.

Smokey and the Bandit/Revenge of the Nerds are two movies that should never be remade. IMO
