My theater has now shown 8 previews and Deadpool 2 twice. I’m starting to get a bit pissed.

You’re so dark, you sure you’re not from the DC universe?

Seeing all these sold out Imax showings makes think about something.
Now that most theaters have reserved seating ,what kinda moron spends $15 to sit in the front row all the way on left or right side?

Just got back and I was shocked how nice of a theater they have on George O’Neal. Never been there before. That will be my go to spot for now on.

We must have caught the same showing

Never been either. It was definitely nice.

just got back....wow!

critics and pundits alike have suggested this movie is 'exhausting' and they are right

Thanos, by Josh Brolin might be one of the most conflicted character portrayals I've ever seen...Brolin did this role major justice. how he goes from sinister to sated, from regretful to fulfilled was amazing to watch.

awesome flick will see again

Good movie.

Hmmm, non-spoiler... ok.

Remember how Avengers felt "right"? Remember being excited to see Age of Ultron, and then come out saying "that wasn't as big as it should have been"?
Remember watching various DC movies, and they just felt almost awkward (except for Wonder Woman, which seemed like they really had a good idea what they were doing)?

Infinity War has been anticipated for a long time. I think it definitely lives up to expectations, in ways Age of Ultron did not. Whether you like the various outcomes that occur or not, there's no denying it is BIG.

I've stayed away from reviews so I wouldn't be spoiled, but I did see complaints that there is too much going on.
I don't think that is the case, if you approach the MCU like an ongoing series, instead of a bunch of standalone films. If you've followed the other films, you will know what's going on. If you are coming in cold, you will likely be hopelessly confused trying to understand it, but still be awed by the visuals.

I would say this movie will have legs at the theater, because it contains so much... I want to go back and watch it again.

No, wasn't me

I was in the 7:35 showing, standard def. Biggest thing I noticed about the theater was that the AC was pretty loud (you heard it blowing during quiet moments); that and some mom brought in a couple loud whiny kids below us (they thankfully were quiet during the film).

I went in at 7:30 to the Dolby version. There seriously was a guy sleeping and snoring.

frick man, I wish that had been the case at the 10:15 Angelika Theater showing in Dallas. It must have been 80+ degrees w/all the body heat. AC kicked on twice for about 5 minutes a pop during the movie but it did very little to mitigate the heat. First time I've ever had to take off my jacket and roll up my sleeves to cool down at a movie.
