Possibly but the oldest later in the episode mentioned that the sister was hot and then went to JO. My guess is that he is into Step-Sister pron and his sister turns him on.

Her character in WL was memorable enough that I now just think Peppa Pig instead of Stifflers mom

Watched the first episode last night and this morning, and I liked it. Thought it did a great job of setting up the incident (and I am very intrigued by a mass shooting at a Thailand resort) and the characters.
I like Goggins, but it's funny to me that virtually all of his dialogue consists of "Ugh!"
HIs girlfriend seems to be completely along for the ride though. He tells her to frick off and she's just like "You want to do some tantric sex shite later?"
Very interesting with the family dynamic of the family. Oldest brother clearly is a sexual deviant of some sort, and it seems like the younger brother and sister have something physical going on (and it's alluded to again in the preview at the end of the episode). I suspect they may be intimately involved and then the older brother may make a play at the sister once he strikes out on every other woman at the resort, and the younger brother will have to step up and defend her. And there was also a weird sexual vibe between the brothers as well. What a weird fricking family.
Also, the names of the brothers: Saxton and Lochlan.
I almost didn't recognize Jason Patrick. Very interested to see what develops with whatever story that reporter is calling about. Based on the previews, I assume he's part of some sort of tax evasion thing. And Parker Posey was hilarious. This show does the "fake happy family" dynamic so well.
Was that the same dude that Stiffler's mom hooked up with last season (or was it the first)? Looks like it., but I haven't looked it up to confirm.
The three ladies group will be interesting. Carrie Coon looks like she's on the verge of going off the deep end about something.
Nothing interesting about the black lady yet, but I suspect her story will pick up once the son gets there.
Digging the staff as well. Nerdy white dude with the old asian lady (and Goggins's interest in her), as well as the American husband. Mook and the security guard guy. Etc.
And the location is great as well. That resort looks incredible. Nice setup for what hopes to be a really solid S3.

I think it’s just that the youngest is gay
I think you may be right on that. At the very least bi. But the fact that he was sort of surprised when Saxton talked about how hot the sister was, gay may be on the table. Good call.

They nailed the upper middle class white women friend group dynamic so well. Nice on the surface, but extreme insecurity and jealousy underneath. That's definitely going to explode.
ETA:
All in all, I love the cast and the season seems like it's going to be great.

You’re probably right but they could have had a guy at the pool to look at instead of his brother before he wanks it

The hotel manager in S2. She asked the hotel manager who does she look like all dressed up and the hotel manager guessed Peppa Pig

The bald guy/Uncle Rico? Hooked up with in season one and they were married in season two.

The wife in the North Carolina family is way over the top for me, really annoyed me in the first episode

Yet, largely accurate for the privileged middle aged woman, sidelined by her husband’s financial success, cycling through prescription uppers and downers every day.

The unique part of this season from a production standpoint is there are three different resorts.
The villas are the Four Seasons Koh Samui. (Though some of interior villas are built on stage in Bangkok).
The pathways, Belinda’s Room and Buddha island are Anantara Mai Khao in Phuket. (The Buddha was sculpted and finished by the Thai art team)
The front entrance and lobby are another Anantara on Koh Samui.
All of them were noticeably missing monkeys.

the model said they had been living there (at the top of the hill, come down to eat, etc) for a year.
I don't recall if she said husband of bf regarding Uncle Rico.
So I'd guess about a year has passed b/c who knows how long he was actually with model girl. He ditched Stifler's mom early last season, right? Maybe he went to/with model then?
i should have done a rewatch.

Stifflers mom = Jennifer Coolidge = Tanya
Uncle Rico = Jon Gries = Greg
Lucius Malfoy/Patriot villain = Jason Isaacs = Timothy
Feel like we could use character names at this point

let's give it another episode or two for the actual character names to sink in

I have absolutely zero room for complaint, I can't remember names for crap. I just happened to finish my rewatch Saturday so they were fresh on my mind so I can jump on my remembering names high horse

To further complicate things —- Greg is actually “Gary” this season

Though to be clear …. It’s still Greg. Not his evil twin brother. He’s just known as Gary on Koh Samui.
