I love how well he (Goggins) and Aimee Lee Wood Chelsea) play off each other. I didn’t know how I’d like them together on this but they really do have a great presence together.

Resort Lady’s husband DEFINITELY has something to do with Rick’s Dad.

Uncle Rico taking the family out on a yacht is going to be a riot.

Dad getting hooked on the benzos. “They’re not addictive”

I saw that differently. The other two gossip hags came off looking bad with their reaction to the skinny girls politics. Very catty, intolerant , and mean-spirited.

Can't even enjoy a good trashy show without them bringing Trump up. So unnecessary.

All three are catty, back biting bitches. I crack up every time one goes to bed the other two sit and talk shite about the other. It’s going to be fun to see their meltdown.

Gonna laugh when it’s one of the 3 girls gets murdered by one of the other 3 after a week of nonstop gossiping and backhanded compliments and passive aggressiveness

Yeah. They had to force in a conflict that is common throughout our country, including this board. What a stretch.

I love Arnold Schwarzeneger's son. Dude cracks me up. There were online comments saying he got the role through nepotism. Which I'm sure is somewhat true. Obviously if he weren't Arnold's son and an average guy, it'd be very difficult, but at the same time he went on Shark Tank for some business idea which I thought was admirable because I'm sure Dad or Dad's friends could've pitched in the money he needed, but he went and found it on his own.

But he cracks me up on this, feel like we'd be friends in real life if he was an average joe but same guy.

This scene is typical of how White draws up politics. The two liberal friends do not come off well here. White loves to crap on uber-woke, virtual signaling liberals each season.

Bibb’s character comes off confident about her life choices despite her friends’ snobbery about them. And White writes this scene to draw the same conclusion that he does with the Mossbacher family in season 1 and Albie and Portia in season 2: virtue signaling liberals are just the worst: naive (Olivia, Paula, Albie, and Portia), manipulative (Paula and Albie), judgmental (Olivia, Paula, Albie, Laurie, and Jaclyn), snobbish (Laurie and Jaclyn), lacking self-awareness (Olivia and Paula) and closed-minded (all of them).

He also repeatedly shows their arguments to be shallow and wholly hypocritical. Out of the three of them Bibb’s Kate is more in tune with normal family life; her life intersects with normal people.* She’s not perfect and just as catty as the other two, but she doesn’t impose her personal beliefs, religious or political on the other two. Not once do Jaclyn and Laurie ask her why she joined a church or why she voted for Trump; they just assume she’s wrong for doing both and allow Kate’s decisions to confirm their warped stereotypes of red state people.

*So far, based on this conversation solely. More may be revealed that determine this analysis not to be true about her.

Season 3 is kind of slow. Watching back on 1 and 2, there was action every episode. Now, it's just really slow this season.

I wouldn’t call getting high and bit by a cobra action.

Still on the slower side of moving the story line.

3 gossip girls are still terrible
Frat boy still wants to bone anything that will give him attention
Parents are bat shite
Security guard still too nice.

At least Portia confronts Uncle Rico and he denies it. That was about the only telling point.

This season is dragging.

If you haven’t watched an episode yet, Honestly, you can skip watching them and just read the episode reviews to catch up.

There has been absolutely Nothing worth watching yet.

I'd argue the end of E2 was definitely worth watching

That's a terrible idea. Why even watch the show if you're just going to skip a third of the season's episodes?

If anything the show has shown historically that there will be little things that are easter eggs for later in the show (the discussion earlier about the "this and that" conversation is a great example of this).

This season is my least favorite so far. I can't remember the pacing of season 1 and 2 but this season seems to be moving at a snails pace. I'm hoping things pick up next episode
