I liked that show a lot as a kid, I didn't like all of the Superman movies, and I need two see the current Superman in a new movie.

quote:

Michael Keaton

Best Bruce Wayne ever, had the best batmobile, cave, and jet that puts him over the top for me.

quote:

Tobey Maguire

He did a good job, Spiderman is a geek, who gets to act out in a costume and Toby did that.

quote:

Mark Ruffalo

I give him the edge, only because both Hulk movies were so bad.

No. I loved that movie. I'm not sure why Incredible Hulk gets so much hate.

Bale and it's really not close.

Superman
no one has played him for shite, but Reeve is the best I suppose if I have to pick.

Spiderman
Garfield by a country mile despite those movies being bad.

Hulk
Hulk is unfair for me because I've only ever seen Ruffalo's. The others just looked so bad I never watched and I'm not a kid from the 70s.

My problem with Bale his batman was not that great, but his Bruce Wayne was very good. His batman voice is just awful. For live actors though I'd probably still put Bale up top just because of how well he plays Bruce Wayne.

Reeve had the best personality as Superman and Kent. None of the others are close, IMO. Cavill has the best Superman look.

Val Kilmer
For me it's Keaton. Bale was great, but that voice was annoying.

Garfield was a better Spiderman, but the Maguire movies were better.

1-leave it to the M/TV to start splitting the characters between Costumed and Secret Identities.

2-Kevin Conroy should be an option for Batman and for that matter Tim Daly as Superman

Superman-Reeve-if for nothing more that his take influenced the comics going forward and they were stuck in the Donner version of him for 30 years. I hope Cavill continues to gives a greater version.

Batman-Bale in Batman Begins-not the other two

Spider-Man-Garfield nailed Spidey's wit far more than crying, dancing Tobey.

Hulk
Ruffalo but his lead isn't as big because he's yet to get a full movie.I will say that Banner in the comics is more like Norton.

Superman -Reeve, though those movies really have aged poorly for me.

Bats - Bale, but honestly I haven't liked any Batman portrayal. I've got a very specific type in mind, and they've really never come close. Batman needs to be imposingly big...think Hemsworth's Thor. We've never seen that in Bats...

Spidey - Garfield. Toby was good and some parts, but he wasn't built to play Spider-Man.

Hulk - I actually liked Norton's Hulk as much as Ruffalo's. This one is a wash for me.

Superman - Reeve
Batman - Keaton
Spiderman - Garfield, I guess
Hulk - Toss up between Ruffalo and Norton

The real question is who was the best Lois Lane - Erica Durance, if you ask me. Followed very closely by Teri Hatcher.

Not a Supes fan at all, so I'll abstain.

Conroy and Keaton for Batman, but Bale for Bruce Wayne.

Garfield, without question, for Spidey.

Norton for Hulk/Bruce Banner.

The best balance between Clark and Superman, and by far the best Clark.

For Batman, your choices are
Christian Bale
Michael Keaton
Adam West
George Clooney
Val Kilmer

Keaton is the best Bruce Wayne by a country mile. And his Batman voice was also better than Bale's. Kilmer is probably second for me though, he's underrated in the role, and was a better version if West.

Kevin Conroy is the GOAT, however.

quote:

For Spiderman, your choices are
Tobey Maguire
Andrew Garfield

I like Maguire's Spidey, but this one still isn't close. Garfield is awesome as Parker, just awesome. Too bad the movies were not nearly as good. Put Garfield in Spider-Man 2 and you have an even better movie.

quote:

For Hulk, your choices are
Eric Bana
Mark Ruffalo
Edward Norton
Bill Bixby

I can't believe people are downing Bixby. Bana was too dark, didn't seem brilliant enough. Ruffalo is too ridged, Norton, meh doesn't fit. Bixby was pretty great.

What no Cap? No one wants to debate Matt Salinger vs. Chris Evans? Also, Catwoman? Newmar, Kitt, Pfeiffer, Berry, Hathaway. And heck the Gotham girl is not bad at all.

Superman- to me Superman will always be Dean Cain, that character and show introduced me to Superman having never really been a fan of the movies or comics of that character. When you say Superman my mind sees Dean Cain first.

Batman- I love the Dark Knight Trilogy, but there was something about Keaton that just said Batman.

Spider-Man- toss up really, Toby was a better Peter and Andrew was a better Spidey. Push.

Bruce Banner- Ruffalo to me really pushes that smart guy trying to keep this wild temper in check.

Surprised there isn't more love for Norton as Hulk. Everyone thought he did a good job with the role when the movie was released.

Also surprised by the love for Garfield as Spiderman, or at least I expected a 50/50 split between him and McGuire.
