Where does Kit Harrington go from here, acting wise

His imdb is empty after Thrones...nothing in production.
I get it, he probably wants to take a break and he's now married to freaking Scottish nobility, but someone that recognizable now you'd think would have offers flying in.
But it also begs the question, with such an indelible role and look baked into the world's mind, what does he play next?
I can't see him doing the superhero thing... And James bond has been taken by his former co-star.
I don't think he'd be good with an American accent or playing some kind of working class mob guy or anything, and I don't see him as a villain.
I think he's kind of this generations Orlando Bloom. Great in big production, non superhero stuff, but kind of misplaced in small dramas as just an everyman.
Will be interesting, he's got the whole brooding, troubled, skeptical, estranged youth thing even going in real life when you see him in interviews. He ain't the Rock, but I'd like to see what someone like Mel Gibson could do with him in a film and a role. Maybe historical stuff is his only future, but I don't know.

Wait what
And as for the OP question, I think he's done with action at least for a while. I could see him doing well in sappy Rom Coms

He would probably do well in a WWII popcorn flick ala saving private Ryan

He is perfect for any role where the lines are
"I am loyal to my queen...."
"I am loyal to my queen...."

He made 5.8M to film S8. I wouldn't be in a hurry to do anything

Man, in seasons 1-5 I thought he showed some real talent. I sincerely hope he's not Orlando Bloom.

I think he'll disappear just like Sam Worthington.

You choose a new Bond actor? Because the series hasn't

I think his wife is old English money too

Have you seen his wife?
I'd imagine he goes in that alot.

Pompeii sucked and the tennis movie was stupid. He's not hitting anything out of the park, aside from GoT.
I don't know if he's leading man material, even though he just was. It worked for GoT, but I can't see it working in films. Maybe a supporting role in a comedy would be good for him.

They'll be adapting Fleming's lost novel, "The Blank Stare."

He's still working. He's been in several successful movies and shows like The Shack, Everest, Hacksaw Ridge, and the Unibomber mini series with Paul Bettany. Also he's shooting all those Avatar sequels.

His Agent: I just got you a lead role..Big Bucks!
Kit: I don’t want it!
His Agent: why? am I doing a good job for you?
Kit: you are my agent, now and always...

He was pretty good in Gunpowder. But I don't know how much range that shows since it's another period piece type English drama.

I think he’d say no to any period piece.
I could see him in a Fast & Furious spinoff
