Wolverine is one of the worst major production movies of all time. It was embarassing how many clichés were in that movie. Like the directors didn't even try.

My buddy before we saw it in theaters goes "I wonder how long it takes for wolverine to scream at the sky with his hands in the air?" It happened like 5 minutes into the movie when he was a kid. We busted out laughing and the whole theatre was probably like wtf.

Of course they through in him blowing up a helicopter and badassly cliché walking away and not flinching when it explodes.

And you gotta love a Harley that has street tires like it should. But wolverine is in a hurry so he needs to take a chopper offroad so I guess he had time to change the tires to the dirtbike tires that were all of a sudden on it. And you know choppers are made for woodsriding so it was jumping crap left and right. Then he needs to get off of it so he lays it over and totals it out. But dang that was stupid bc he still needs to drive off like a badass after badassly blowing up the helicopter. Good thing the chopper isn't totaled out anymore so he can ride off in that like Tom cruise in top gun.

You have Wolverine and not First Class. The Coin Scene alone was better than everything in that film combined.

Absolutely. I loved Wolverine, but First Class was just good (not great). I went into Wolverine expecting it to be just decent, and it surprised me with how good it was. I went into First Class expecting it to be decent, and that's what it was. And I didn't dislike it at all, it as good. Just not anywhere near my top superhero movies.

And good call on The Incredibles...that's definitely on my list. And high on it.

Spoilers:

BTW, which coin scene...the one where he gives it to hi (his mother's death), or the end scene?

Batman is not a super hero. He has no super powers. He is a masked vigilante.

You normally have good taste in film to where I'll give you the pass for this blasphemy.

While they're both great scenes, I'm talking about when he kills Shaw. Great sequence. Plus Magneto in the bar scene was great as well, and several other scenes, like Wolverine telling Magneto and Xavier to go frick themselves.

Ummm.... yes there has.

Bruce Timm clearly understood the character and especially his rouge gallery. Lex Luthor has yet to be portrayed properly on the big screen, but was completely perfect in all of these films/series.

I don't disagree but as far as a live action Superman movie it still impresses me that a superhero movie made in 1978 hasn't been topped. the script was fantastic and really told the story well. I'll be interested what Zach Snyder will do.

A good bit of people, including myself, think the sequel was better. It at least is on the level of being comparable.

I totally agree. Gene Hackman was the worst Lex Luthor characterization - I can't believe how far he missed the mark. What a disappointment. Not the slightest bit sinister, he looked more like he belonged in the TV Batman list of joking, smirking non-threatening villains.

The Dark Knight is the better movie, but Mask of the Phantasm is the better Batman movie.

There's been so many that I wish they'd just go away, but I like Iron Man, Scott Pilgrim, Dark Knight and Watchmen.
