1972 my dad takes 12yo me and my 15yo brother to see Deliverance. Dad loved camping, canoeing and wilderness scenery.
When ol’ Ned got bent over and arse pounded my brother and I were horrified. My dad says “welp, didn’t see that in the Trailer”.

Saw Excalibur in the theater with my mother when I was 13.
Yeah...awkward.

I watched the Big Lebowski with a friend's parents when I was like 15. But they were actually really cool about it.
In retrospect now though, Drop Dead Fred. My mom took me and my sisters to see that....just wow. She never had a problem with any of it though.

My dad carried me to see Friday the 13th Part 3 in 3D in theater when I was 9.

13 year old me bought my dad Kentucky Fried Movie on DVD. Having never seen the movie, I figured he'd like it since he liked Naked Gun, Airplane, Animal House, and the like. He watched it with my 15/16 year old older sister. Oops.

Mom took my brother and I when I was eleven and he was 12 to see Apocalypse Now. And the whole family went to see "The Deer Hunter." Interesting choices

Brought my mom to see Basic Instinct. That was so awkward.

I remember my mom taking me to see the Jerk when I was 10 or 11. She was thinking Steve Martin (King Tut, SNL stuff.) Between My special purpose, Bernadette Peters tits, and the biker chick scenes it was pretty uncomfortable.
I remember almost nothing about this movie. I went over to my like 10th grade girlfriends house to hang out and her dad suggested her, him and i watch a movie. He picked the Jerk. This guy was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army so whenever I was over there I was pretty much on pins and needles all the time anyway. I was still probably more of a smart arse than I should've been. We are idiots in our youth.

Dad and Step Mom took me to Interview with a Vampire in middle school. Step Mom was squirming in her chair, very upset with the full frontal nudity scene. Dad said, "What? He's damn near in high school. It's just some tits and a bush. He'll be aight."

I can't imagine what your biological mother didn't see in this suave and sophisticated gentleman.

I know now that Mom is basically a prude and easily disgusted, so it makes some sense now that she made the family leave the theater after the campfire-bean-eating-scene in Blazing Saddles (First movie I can recall seeing, btw)
I remember laughing so hard, but being so confused why we were leaving the funniest movie ever.

Master of Disguise. I never recovered from the damage that film caused me.

Not as a kid, don't remember anything like that, but this was when I was older.
When me and the wife were dating, she rented a movie called the Sweetest Thing. My parents decided to watch it with us, I have never laughed so hard at the cringe factor between her and my folks.
They watched the whole thing too, the scene where the dude gets stuck in the girls mouth I was crying with laughter because of their reactions more than the movie.

My dad took me to Police Academy at 12 year old. When the hooker blows the Commandant things got awkward.

For some unknown reason, our youth soccer team end of year pizza party movie was "Convoy". The team was made up of 6 and 7 year olds. It got shut off
Next closest competitor was watching Police Academy 2 for a 10 year old birthday party with the kids parents in the room.
