Should have just let it be awesome in my head.
I remember the old Capt. America being good. I shouldn't watch it should I?

You should try to rewatch 3 Ninjas.
One of my favorite movies when I was a kid. Watched it a couple of years ago. Big mistake. It was painful.

However, just a warning to everyone: Nostalgia is a lying whore. A while back I re-watched "Camp" as an adult, and holy shite did I think it was a piece of crap.
Sometimes it's better to let childhood memories remain that way.
I agree, although I still enjoyed it.
Earnest Saves Christmas was another fun one.

here's a good breakdown of that scene

At his peak, Michael Jordan did a foul line dunk with one (1) hand. Yet here, in this sleepy suburb, some white junior high student is doing NBA Jam style dunks on the playground. WHILE WEARING JEANS.

I'm partial to the Xmas, Halloween, and Basketball ones. I still remember the day he died. I was in jr high.

Much like Will Ferrell or Adam Sandler movie, the best one is the one never made.
I'm positive I would dislike you in real life.

I bought a DVD at Walmart that had Ernest goes to Camp, Jail, and Scared Stupid last week for 5 bucks...
Damn I need to do that. I gotta start stockpiling all the old classics. My kids aren't growing up on this Hannah Montana Dora Explorer bullshite the kids are stuck with nowadays!

It's a shame nobody said "Ernest Goes To Africa"

Saves Christmas. But to be fair, my kids and I recently watched Goes to Camp, Goes to Jail, and Scared Stupid thanks to the bargain bin at Wal-Mart. My feelings might change since I haven't seen Saves Christmas in probably 15-20 years, so it might just be a bit of nostalgia for not seeing it in so long. "Air brakes"
