If there was no season 7 happening, that last bit wouldn't have been in there. Your anger is displaced

Maybe not, who knows, but people just leave it at "the s6 finale was perfect". Well, the last minute IS included in that episode, so no it would not have been perfect.

Also other people don't quite agree with that point, this here is the 2nd post in the thread

They basically didn't know if they were coming back at all, so the end of Season 6 could have been the Series Finale.

So if that's to be believed then you would be incorrect, and the end of the S6 finale would have aired as it did regardless if there was a 7 or not.

I can't tell what it says. When I zoom in, it becomes very blurry. What is it and why is it important?

” has turned out to be mere hours later. One intrepid viewer has already identified the tiny Easter egg: A bottle of Jean-Ralphio champagne being served to elderly Typhoon and Craig as they take their sky/sea/whatever cruise and grouse about trout. Considering it’s being served in what appears to be first class, we’ll have to assume Jean-Ralphio’s champagne is only the finest in brut bubbly and does not taste like Brut cologne.

It was announced that it was renewed for a 7th season in January 2014, the season 6 finale aired in April 2014

Also filming ended in February of 2014 so it is likely the wrote that episode as the finale, then whenever they got renewed they filmed that ending scene to continue the series for one more season

which just reinforces my point that the 6 finale, as shown on TV, would be a lousy series finale.

Without the ending? Sure, it'd be perfectly fine as a series ender. But nobody ever throws in that little caveat when the topic comes up.

ok sorry it was a great ending except for the last 30 seconds

they didn't write it as if it were the finale, but they wrote it in case they were not renewed you'd have some closure on things.

Tom finally found a success
Ron found love and came out as duke silver
Andy found success in his music career
Leslie got her promotion and stayed in Pawnee
They had kids and the last scene was just supposed to show that everything turned out alright in the end, but they still lived busy lives and could still take on any challenge.

Totally forgot I started this thread. Thanks for the answers, even if it did get sidetracked.

Office will always be #1 with me for sentimental reasons, but Parks did what the Office should have, and went out when it was good instead of dragging a dead horse through the mud.

I've been doing a rewatch. Parks is def awesome. But it's not the office. Leslie is too much.

Ron Swanson is even more amazing than I remembered.

Yeah, I'm going through Parks again. It is awesome, (I especially love all the minor side characters: Perd, Jamm, Dexhart, Tweep, Ethel Beavers, etc)

But no way it is on the level of The Office. Season 1-5 of The Office is on another level. (Season 8 to me is the only bad season of The Office)

I know I have stated this a few times in Parks threads but I wish Brandanwicz stayed around longer.
