This movie was #1 in the world the past couple days on Netflix. Don’t believe it, it’s a trap. This is one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen with some of the worst storytelling you could imagine. Anyone else get tricked into the watching this?

*Spoilers*

Girl meets her mom’s new boyfriend and gets totally horny for him, but then he starts acting weird. You can tell he’s an alien about 30 minutes into the movie. There’s a boat scene where she gets her period, he grabs a t-shirt to stop the bleeding and gets some of her period blood on his fingers AND THEN HE LICKS IT OFF. This is the only part of the movie that elicits any kind of reaction.

The girl tries to tell her mom that something is off about her new boyfriend, and of course the mom blows her off because “she needs this” and her vagina is collecting dust. At the end the mom gives birth to an alien baby, the girl tries to run away but gets captured and put into some kind of holding cell that fills with water and the movie ends.

I mean...it's not Netflix's fault people are choosing to watch shite movies. How many times are terrible films also #1 at the box office?

I hear you. You are assuming that Netflix is actually ranking movies based on views or "likes" and not some other weird criteria. Let's not forget that they fundamentally changed their user based rating system after Amy Schumer's special was given a ton of 1 star reviews and she complained about it.

100% their I new original movie every week is an abortion.

We watched that shite pile Deadly Illusions a week or so ago. It was the worst movie I've seen in years.

While I hated Pike’s character in that movie, was it that bad? I mean it’s not an Oscar nominee or anything but I liked it more than 99% of their originals.

Am I getting this confused with What Lies Beneath? Is that the Michelle Pfeifer movie?

I don't know these things..

Edit:

Okay, different movie..

Netflix is the perfect example of quantity over quality and pumping up advertising and previews.
