You must be pretty young if you were in high school when tdk came out.

Came out in 2008. I would say I'm about average age for TD. This board probably attracts an older group if people. Probably one of the reasons I like it.

It is easily the best dialogue ever put on screen.

I'd imagine the average user who sticks around for over a year or so is over 23/24.

I started posting here in 2006 the first time. I was just a kid. Bad idea.

I like that we have more younger posters here now. I enjoy hearing their take on "classic" movies that I grew up with.

I'm with you on Big Lebowski, it's one of my favorite movies.
My girlfriend had never seen it and I showed it to her a couple of weeks ago when it was on IFC and she liked it.

it would obviously be my favorite movie (The Empire Strikes Back); however, everyone has seen it.
so I think Tombstone. It's a great starter movie for people who've never seen a western...also love to make people watch Dirty Harry. I fricking love every frame of that movie.

So freaking good.
I put my now-wife through two tests to see if we were compatible. Both films.
First date we watched What Dreams May Come to see if she could handle how fricking emo I am when it comes to movies.
Later on we watched Return to Oz to see if she could handle how fricked up my taste in kid's movies is.
She loved both.
Return to Oz is one of my favorite movies to show people because a lot of people have never even heard of it and its premise is so fricked up I love it. Plus it's creepy as hell.
