Don’t remember the season number but Homeland had one later in the run that was downright horrible. The season finale may have been the worst episode of a show ever put to film that year. The final season was pretty good though.

Season 1 wasn’t great, but IMO season 2 has been a lot better.

I revise my earlier suggestion about True Detective, season 4 and cede to Justified, City Primeval. You win.
