First two seasons were the best. Show fell off hard after Claire Foy and Vanessa Kirby left.

Yes, but the last 2 seasons covering Charles and Diana picked back up. I really loved this show. There were several historical events that I had no idea about that I learned from the show.

Early seasons were fantastic. Once they got to the final seasons, I was less interested, especially since Dominic West looks NOTHING like Charles, and seemingly thinks that the only mannerism Charles has is to bite his lower lip.

Like everyone else is saying, Season 1 & 2 are just elite television. 3 & 4 were great too. 5 & 6, good enough to watch, because you are invested, but not on the level of the 1-4.

Hope that a prequel is on the table, like another poster said. That would be awesome. Start at the death of Queen Victoria and run it through the abdication or end of WW2.

This was the strangest thing to me. It was over the top to the point of distraction. I found myself laughing in her scenes as if it were a comedy.

I enjoyed it thoroughly to the end but I’m an Anglophile.

Same.

Agree that Foy was the best depiction of HRH but I think a lot of that lends to her being young and coming into her own.

The cast throughout is really good IMO. One of the better shows Netflix has produced.

She won an Emmy and a Golden Globe for her performance, and deservedly so.
