I kind of wonder what the show would have been like if Lee had lived past the first episode and died later. I get why he died, Taylor wanted to establish what kind of show this was, but I think the family dynamic would have been more realistic with the oldest and youngest aligned against the middle kids. Kayce just feels like he's not even from the same place as Beth and Jaime.

Also... why on earth do they keep running the commercial saying that Yellowstone is finally returning... as if it's coming up this week. The epic return. There's still another 5 frickin months. That's not "finally returning" to me. That's "Just in time for the Holidays" or in the case of Yellowstone "For those of you who haven't given up on the crapfest that we've turned Yellowstone into, we'll be back with 5 or 6 episodes in November, but with no Kevin Costner. So we're going to ratchet up the Beth even more."
