That's called doing business.

Not sure what people here don't understand.

This is how pawn shops operate. The ones that don't low ball the frick out of people don't last.

It's about the only "real" aspect of the show.

I can't believe no one has said how the expert always comes in and says " what are your concerns about the item Rick"

Yeah, and it's obvious they have researched this item, but always try to act surprised when they see it. Dumb.

Chumlee is one of the luckiest motherfrickers on earth. He becomes friends with a guy whose dad owns a pawn shop and that leads to him being a regular on a hit cable TV series. Unreal. He's almost as lucky as the trashy family from Honey Boo Boo.

"Yeah I'd like to get $4000 but the least I would take is $2000." Then they walk out of the store happy with like $75.

This always cracks me up. Half of the time the people will say "I wanted $2,000 but I thought $200 was a fair price."

The fact that the History Channel has now become the Pawn Stars Channel, so that every Memorial Day/Fourth of July/Veterans Day instead of a documentary on Guadalcanal or Normandy, we get a Pawn Stars marathon.

I hate the fake history lessons from the Pawn Shop staff.

Chumley breaks out of his moron routine to list off the line of succession to the throne of Frederick the First.

It hasn't been mentioned that I can see but the absolute worst part of this is the line:

"...if it helps you out."

No frick you. I wouldn't make a deal with them.
