Just Finished after stopping and starting a few times. I couldn’t get into this episode.

I realized pretty early on that I don’t really care about any of these characters except for Delores and Bernard.

The ‘new’ cast except for Serac exhibited absolutely dreadful acting all episode. Especially Liam (my goodness he’s awful). And I couldn’t give two shits about Jesse Pinkman’s existential angst.

The opening chase/gunfight had the worst score for a gun battle I’ve ever heard. Completely took me out of the scene.

This season, though beautiful to look at, has been a whole lot of ‘meh’.

Inconsistencies, too. In the first episode, Deloris is shot once in the gut and almost "dies". In this episode, she's shot 3 to 5 times in the gut and it doesn't faze her.

Wondering if that’s going to be a fake out to lure Caleb in.

It’s such a glaring inconsistently it feels either super dumb or planned

Honestly I have No idea where it’s going. They are advancing the plot but sorta leaving out the real consequences.

I think It’s cool to give Serac’s backstory and the Cassell has been amazing. But they just showed everyone’s fate and it sorta just in the background.

You would think that would be an endgame move. People have been saying “something needs to happen” and yet they didn really build up to a big thing that happened. Delores basically just strolled in with trust fund doofus and ducked everything up.

I think she targeted Caleb and faked her injuries in the first episode to lure him in. I can't wait to find out his backstory and what Liam and Delores knew about him.

You guys are tough to please. Really enjoyed this episode. Great music and action, nice pacing and insight (SWIDT) with the Serac flashbacks, etc. And that car chase - even went back and rewatched it after finishing the episode.

When i saw the bullet hole in the back of her jacket I was pretty sure Caleb was hit and that is where his expression came from. After I rewound it I now think it (the expression) is because he saw her take a bunch of rounds and her reaction is no where near what it was with one.

Seemed to me that's what his what the hell face was about. He just realized that he's just a pawn in her game.

I also think she is adapting.
Her goal from the end of season 2 was to take over, humans are garbage.. etc.

But I think as she's learning more about human nature and seeing how everyone is a rat in a cage, she's gaining empathy.

Her endgame is to just reboot the system. Hers, Delos, Siroc, humans.

Corrupt the files of control.

Also, I smoked a few pots while watching

I mean, in a time of unemployment for millions that contact is still going strong.

Great episode, I'm starting to wonder where they go from here if this gets a season 4 though. We had kinda a conclusion to Delos in the first 2 seasons / beginning of season 3, and we basically had humanity taken off their loop just now. We also only have like 4 host left, so

This was my favorite episode since season 1 though, was absolutely magnificent. As for his reaction to the bullet shots - he's realizing he's always been a pawn, in everyone's game, even Deloros'.

Anybody happen to know who is the chair during Caleb's flashback right after Liam was shot? It was a quick look at a man with a gag around his mouth as the hood was removed.... I got a decent look but couldn't figure it out...

ETA:

Figured a screenshot would help...

The actor is Enrico Colantoni, he was credited as Whitman in the episode.

Nobody we've seen until this point

Lol s2 was fantastic and 3 is just another level of fantastic u missing out.

Easily my fav episode yet. Delores handled that shite lol although i wish I didn't pause on the women with the little girl who commits suicide in 5-7 years that's brutal

And the music this season off the mfin hook

Quick question anybody know if Serac is human? He's always in that fancy arse plane and except for flashbacks he's always a hologram
