Why would a season 2 description be necessary on this site? And you didn’t ask about an opinion. You wanted to know what it is. That’s exactly what google is for. This place is for discussion. Whether I provide a link (to wiki) or you go somewhere yourself, the synopsis/recap doesn’t change.

Okay. Based on the internet I see it’s a show about Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds learning to run a soccer team.
Thanks for literally nothing.

Just watch the first episode. If you're not into it, then go on to something else.

Is this a bit? You can't really be serious.

I would love for each of the Power 5 (4?) to align with a G5 conference (e.g. SEC + Sun Belt), B1G + MAC, etc) and have a promotion/relegation situation going on. That would make even the bottom feeder team games worth watching throughout the end of the season.

Can you imagine the implications what App State could do if they were able to get promoted to the SEC for even a single season? One year of the SEC Network $$$ would totally revolutionize their program

I've been doing this on ncaa 14 the past like 10 years lol. Some conferences look completely different in like 10 seasons so it's been fun to play around with.

But super excited to watch season 2. Outside of the bromance episode last season (where they had a woman mansplaining male friendships) it was an awesome ride.

For me, S1 became less about the celebrity aspect and much more about the town and fans. They're a great co-star with true passion. I had watched the series Sunderland Till I Die and this has the exact same feel. It's more than just about soccer, at least that's what I see from my lens.

Man, that episode went by so quickly. Glad to see they're finally making progress on demoing the Kop behind that one goal end. Seeking public funds to improve their stadium is kind of a dick move, but NFL/MLB owners do it all the time here, so...

Not a soccer guy but the first episode was fun. I didn't know that Welsh teams are allowed in the EPL.

Negative. Tuesday nights 10pm ET

The wait definitely sucks.

IIRC, they dropped a couple of episodes at once when the series began, then shifted to a weekly rollout for the remainder.

That sounds interesting. I love shows that really dig into local towns. Will check it out. Thanks.

According to the gent who owns the pub adjacent to the Racecourse, tourism is up 200% since the acquisition and the show, specifically. Folks visiting DGAF about Rob & Ryan necessarily, but are super interested in meeting the local fans who are featured in the series.

I'm someone who found soccer boring and only came to know of W2W from Rob as i'm a HUGE sunny fan. Watching the locals and how much they care for that team really got to me and then the more i followed the team the more i became invested and now i'm a full blown wrexham fan.

What a very cool and charming show. Thanks to the good people here. However, the a-hole posters can burn in hell.

This soccer team isn’t in the EPL

Theyre in like a lower level minor league

They would have to fix the transfer portal. An SEC team that drops could and likely would lose a ton of players to non-relegated programs.

A relegated team won’t have much talent to begin with. It wouldn’t change much. The good ones leave anyway.

There would definitely need to be made changes to the off-the-field aspects of CFB (NIL, Transfer Portal, etc) to be sure.
