Maybe it’s because it was so long ago, but everybody seems to be overlooking the terrific job Sean Bean did in his brief 9 episodes.

And Pilou Asbaek was incredibly over-the-top as Euron, but I think that may have been needed to convey the overall douchiness of the character.

I think most actors did an exceptional job during the show. Yes Peter was absolutely brilliant. Cersei was insanely well played. Bran was brilliant...his eye movement and same stare for three seasons was the best work I've ever seen

Also Rory McCann was phenomenal as the Hound.

I was going to say this.

I'd say Charles Dance and Peter Dinklage were the best

Best young actor had to be Jack Gleeson (Joffrey)

He was given some of the best scenes in the series.

Granted, drunken, repulsive, midget who still manages to have lots of sex is pretty much GRRM projecting.

Dinklage did fine. Headey was as great as ever. The acting was, for the most part, stellar. They might have been handed crap scripts but by golly they delivered on those scripts.

I found his quasi Brit accent annoying. He’s from New Jersey for gods sake.

That kid who played Geoffrey killed it.

Never hated a character so much before that. Marvelous acting.

Ramsey Bolton was a fantastic villain as well.

But yea. Dinklage brought it every time, even when the script was arse.

Especially when you consider the fact that he’s supposedly one of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet.

I thought Ghost did a fantastic job going from being a disappointed rejected pooch to showing such excitement and joy when reunited with his companion at the end.

Such a good boi.

Dinklage not knowing how or being able to cry on all the times he was supposed to drops him a bit.

Loved him and his character but he fell short a bit enough to make it a discussion.

Overall I can agree with this. That being said, I think the greatest single scene by someone in this series was Leana's performance last night, S8E6.

No we can't.

The acting on this show is something I've never been disappointed with. Actors like Peter Vaughn, Charles Dance and Diana Rigg are in no way outclassed by Dinklage.

Honestly, the Lannisters were probably the best actors in the show - Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), Cersei (Lena Headey), Jamie (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), and Tywin (Charles Dance).

Not to mention the sinister Sardo Numspa.

Or Noompsey, as he preferred to be called.
