I didn't watch it until it got syndicated, and I've never watched the whole series. From watching the reruns on cable, I can't imagine anyone liking Ross. Just seemed like a wet blanket that would ruin any situation he was involved with.
In real life, I always thought guys with sisters had an advantage when it came to dating. My theory on that was they had to deal with females that weren't their moms, and a guy like me, that only had brothers got accused of treating them like a mom.
Ross was TV proof that having a sister didn't help at all.
