Finally got around to watching this episode which was great.
- I still hate Lori with a passion. If she thinks Andrea isn't pulling her weight, she must think the same of Dale and T-Dawg. Go get on their asses too then. I like how Andrea put her in her place
- Much better dialogue between the characters and direction on this episode
- Did it bother anyone else that the kid was moving around relatively well one week after he took an iron fence through the calf?
And to those who continue to "vaguely" talk about the comics and future characters, I reiterate: frick OFF. There are specific threads every week for that shite. Take it there. I don't see people in the Game of Thrones episode discussion so blatantly talking about future characters we haven't met and things like that. I have no clue why it continues to happen in these threads though. I have never clicked on one of those threads because I only want to know what I have seen on TV so far and nothing more. I should not have a clue about the governor or the virus theory, but I do thanks to these assbags.

The governor was brought up by the creator of the show. He told everyone who was cast for that role. So it's not a spoiler. It's common info that we should all know by now without having read any comics. I don't see how that can spoil anything. No storyline was let out. Quit being a pussy.

Probably in an interview that I chose not to read because *gasp* I didn't feel the need to. When I watch a show I don't research future direction or casting of the show because I will find out soon enough when it is aired.

What? I don't see how this is "common info"

I just dont see the point of even discussing shite like this in an episode thread. There are other threads on here every week specifically for this other stuff to be discussed. It's a matter of common courtesy really.

People don't understand. I never wanted to know there was someone called "The Governor" in this series. That was brought up last year during the first season I believe. So now I know when someone shows up on screen as that character that they're gonna be a pretty big deal. NO, it doesn't ruin everything, but it definitely kinda sucks knowing shite beforehand about something you haven't seen yet.
And the argument of "the show isn't the same as the comics and has its own shite, so it's not spoilers" is complete bullshite. The show is based on the comic. However loosely or strictly based is up to the creators, but the comic is source material nonetheless. So talking about things like the Governor or how the zombie virus exists/is spread from the comics could very well be huge potential spoilers to the show.
It's been stated time and time again by numerous people in these threads that there shouldn't be spoilers in here. And there have been numerous threads for spoilers/comic discussion solely for that purpose. Yet they're still posted in here most of the time. It sucks.

It's still a spoiler to those who haven't read the comics, and don't read fan/industry web sites. A spoiler is talking about anything that hasn't happened/been shown yet on the show.

Not wanting to know what's coming up on a show you like is not being "a pussy." It's unnecessary to talk about stuff that hasn't happened yet. I get where the guy is coming from...I'm the same way in the Game of Thrones threads. No one that hasn't read the books is impressed by those that have. Just let people enjoy the show and the information as it comes out in real time.

I was thinking the same. The kid encouraged Rick to just leave Shane behind so now Rick knows the kid isn't any different from the thugs he was running around with.
Shane had just tried to kill Rick. The kid was right in telling him to leave. Anyone who didn't know their history would have thought the same. Why save someone and risk your life for someone trying to kill you?

Just keep episode based threads about what HAS happened on the show and leave your "common" knowledge information for the spoiler or comic threads. It's not that hard. We get it, you know who the governor is and you keep up with every press release about the show. Congrats.

I had successfully skipped over all of your posts until this one. Now I too know that there will be a character called the governor. I don't give a frick where you got the information, but you have successfully SPOILED the surprise of me first meeting this character on screen. This thread is to discuss the past shows and OUR ideas on where the show will go based only on the show.
So please shut the frick up about anything not related specifically to the show or not mentioned in episodes that have already aired.
That being said, I too want to bang Maggie.

I got a nice chunk of the remainder of Season 2 spoiled for me in what I thought was a comic spoiler thread devoted to purely the governor's character.
I didn't mind talking about the gov, since I read up on a few comic characters out of curiosity but talking about what happens to the characters in the show for the remainder of the season was fricking lame.
I'm done with walking dead threads. My enthusiasm for the rest of the season is gone.
to those that feel the need to place spoilers in unneccessary/unwarranted places:

Alcohol enhances Hershel's healing abilities.
Note: That is not a spoiler, just a joke.

The only reason I mentioned the Governor is because someone else posted it in the thread already. I have no desire to know spoilers and never seek out information. I read about it on Facebook and saw an article for it on AMC. So yes that is pretty common info for anyone out there. You aren't that shocked by it and I didn't ruin the storyline. If you're worried about reading something that might make you cry and bitch, then a message board isnt the place for you.

Hope that's not directed at me. I already know all about the comics.

Me and you are definitely on the same page.
And Chazz, I wasn't really directing my post at you, more of just a venting of frustrations of what we have seen on here. Basically, like Cokes said, episode threads are for the episodes and future speculation. There are numberous other places to discuss the source material and future castings. That's it. Pretty simple.

What are you bitching about? You read the spoiler thread, dumbass

I agree anytime i read a thread with the word spoilers in the title i realize their may be spoilers about the show in that thread.
As for talking about possible outcomes on the show based on the last episode its called debating and discussing a certain conclusion of that poster.
I have never read the comics so anything i posted in this particular theater is purely what i think might happen.
To those gripping, take off the Pampers and put on your big girl panties or turn off your computer, close the basement door and go watch days of our lives with your moms. Leave the real discussions to those of use who can debate and discuss everyone's opinions.

Such a bullshite stance. Your opinions are purely based on the show, and that's fine...but the argument here is when people post their opinions or theories based on spoilers they've read or shite from the comics, which are clearly source material for the show.

I love this show and would never purposely spoil anything I didn't think was already known. But I can't stand bitching and people act like their dog died when they read something that may happen based off of assumption. If someone truly doesn't want to know anything then they wouldn't get in a thread to discuss it because you know someone is gonna throw something out that could happen and when it does your twat rag has to be changed.
Because of one poster, I plan to post all Game of Thrones spoilers in every thread. #gayshow
