I think up until tonight it has been good. Tonight was just filler though. Almost nothing happened to advance the storyline.

Where the hell did Daryl and that truck come from? Are we to think he somehow figured out what was happening in the building and waited for the bad guys to make an escape?

Here's how this ends:
Daryl and crew get themselves in a bind.
Rick does something that gets the garbage people on board.
Negan gets upper hand and is about to take it to Daryl and Michonne crew.
Rick and garbage people come in and save day at last minute, may get help from Dwight and Eugene. Looks like everything is okay.
Helicopter lands for cliffhanger. Negan has some hunch who is in helicopter.
And, on the side story, the prisoner saviors get control of Hilltop.
Ezekiel's redemption will have something to do with Hilltop being taken over and not the main storyline.
