We're all waiting on the gator one. Anybody know the release date?

After watching this, I don’t think he is in recovery.
sorry, i should have been more clear in my post. i havent watched the show and i have no idea if he is in recovery or not. sounds like not. i just meant that opening a bar in a college town is not going to help him improve the trajectory of his life, if he were so inclined.

Agree.
It kind of caught me off guard. It’s like the other poster said, it’s not like it ended on this super cheery note. He’s still in trouble

Haven’t watched, but he seems to be back on a bender. He actually cleaned up quite a bit with Bre, but once she left him he went back to his ways.

He is an addict, therefore completely powerless to control himself…think about it. There is no way a “normal” person could be that big of an idiot. I’m not saying he gets a pass, but I definitely have a different perspective on him after watching this…
I have a similar takeaway, but I think his drug and alcohol usage was some sort of salve for his mental health issues.

He said he was diagnosed bi-polar. Sort of tried to give himself an out putting that out there in my opinion

Maybe, but it seemed clear from the portion on his stint in Cleveland that something more than just partying was going on.

Haven’t seen this yet but I saw he was on a podcast where he was smoking non-stop. Could have been spliffs or just regular cigarettes but he certainly seems like a guy who has issues with compulsive behavior .

He is a fricking disaster

I think Johnny might be lurking this board, what with all the random downvoting on this thread.
Johnny, if you're reading this, you need to quit the booze and drugs.

I can tell you first hand as someone that has owned more than one bar. That's the LAST thing he needs in his life right now.

The best part is wide receivers too drunk to show up for his pro day. His lawyer and agents are running the routes.

Johnny Manziel's Money Bar
JFF’s Money Bar would’ve been a little better

What an entitled pussy. He threw it all away.

Watched the doc tonight. I stand by all my previous posts on this thread. He is deeply unlikable, and he seems to enjoy being so.

Has the fact he lied about his family’s wealth been out there?
I remember this entire site saying how he’d be fine bc of grandpas money

You can see things from Johnny's side and see how things got so out of control so fast. The stories of what you don't know are pretty entertaining
If NIL rules of today were around back then he would’ve made 10x the money and probably would’ve been able to be a bit more grounded. The thrill of being invincible from skirting the ncaa seems like it fueled his spiral to a degree.

I remember hearing on Colin Cowherds radio show how his family had generational oil money. Found out not long after that his dad was working at Hixon Ford in Monroe for a while I kept wondering why someone with family wealth would need to be a manager at a Ford dealer in NELA.

Sumlin and Kingsbury both owe Manziel a huge chunk of their follow-on contracts because they sure didnt earn that money themselves.
It sounded Sumlin and Kingsbury enabled, encouraged, and endorsed drug and alcohol use because Johnny Football was better with both. I can’t believe his agent actually said a 4th stringer took his drug tests.
