Doesn't count if you are a Scientologist, you are required to like it as religious material.

Is it universally reviled? I guess this is it for me. I know it was a huge financial disaster. A lot of people seem to consider it confusing. It's strange, but it's supposed to be strange. There are a lot of things to like about it. shite. It might even be a top 10 movie for me if I made such lists.

I really liked those as well.

Take Paul Giamatti out of the second one and it is a pretty solid flick.

i know it's not "universally reviled" but it seems to be on this board, Avatar. I loved it, saw it twice in theatres, and can't wait for the sequel

This land is beautiful! I am falling in love with it.

Here comes America. They have come to kill indigenous people and take resources.

How can anyone stop America?

Someone needs to join with the giant unification bird, but it kills anyone who tries!

Hmmmm. Anyone try just jumping on its back?

No?

OK I'll jump in his back.

I'm the leader of the aliens now.

I don't know if it counts as "universally reviled" because I haven't met many people that have actually seen the movie, but I'm the ONLY person I know that likes The Libertine.

if you went into Avatar expecting a complex story line then I guess so. But it was amazing, visually.

And "America" is never mentioned. But I guess you're ripping on it for its unoriginal storyline. Which a point could be made for like 90% of all movies

I didn't know Waterworld was universally hated. It came out when I was young, but I've always liked it.

Idk if it's universally hated, but I love that Poseidon movie. It's so dumb, but I still love it.
