I could see liking it if you're a degenerate gambler

And why the frick did KG agree to be in it? He comes across like a buffoon... thinking some stone makes him better at basketball? Gtfo of here

I loved the movie. And for some reason, I wanted Sandler’s character to win, although he was a huge pos

And I know many people need someone to “root” for in order to enjoy a movie, but that’s never really been a big factor for me

I don't need someone to root for... bit I basically rooted against Howard.

Arno was the person I wanted to succeed the most

That movie was garbage and had no point.

Here is what I learned from this movie:

Don’t lend Kevin Garnett crap. He thinks he is doing you a favor by returning it.

It makes you feel that anxious feeling you get when sweating out a bet. You feel exhausted after it.

Sandler had ONE redeeming quality among all the other ones that made him a straight garbage human, and that was how he cared for his kids. He still wanted to go back in and finish watching his daughters recital after his brother in law’s guys stripped him naked and put him in the trunk.

Other than that, it’s safe to say he got what he deserved

One question I just remembered.

Do people really regularly bet the tip off as part of a huge parlay?

Seems incredibly stupid.

No.

Outside of that and few other small gambling mistakes I enjoyed the movie.

I wouldn't want to watch it again, but I really enjoyed it. My jaw hit the frickin floor and I was emotionally drained after it was over. I thought Sandler was pretty great in it.

I thought it was ok. Sandler just gets annoying after awhile, didn’t get the best actor buzz. Good Time is a similar movie made by the same people and is on Netflix, I thought that was better

I thought it showed a grim look at the life of a degenerate gambler. If anyone has experience with that, either personally or through a friend/family member, you know how disastrous it can be.

I found that interesting also. It may be stupid, but it might also be an easy bet if there is a way to track different players tip off stats.

Had a neighbor who bet first pitch would be a strike in a Game 1 of World Series so I imagine some degenerates do it.
