Not in that movie.
Twister is the answer to the Helen Hunt round of "Peak Actress Hotness Role"

Only the ending bothered you from a practical standpoint??
Well, there is a lot more than that, but the ending stands out the most for me.
There are plenty of other things:
- Bill and Jo also would have been impaled by debris under that wooden bridge.
- NSSL doesn't predict a tornado's rating before it happens or while its happening.
- They drove too close to tornadoes numerous times. Again, the debris field around a large tornado would have been much larger and they would have been hit by debris.

They drove through a house.

Out of many dumb scenes in this movie, the best is when forehead says, "wheres my truck", and out of nowhere her truck lands on the road upside down. Just incredibly silly. We always look at how still it is when she says this line. OH well I still watch the damn thing when its on.

I think the soundtrack was pretty solid as well

Tornados have excellent comedic timing

The other part of the ending that bothers me is that the "F-5" tornado goes from F-5 (now EF-5) strength when they are running from it and in it, to totally dissipating as soon as it passes them
Where was the supercell it should have been with? It was just like a sunny day and then mile wide tube of death in the middle.
I of course absolutely love this movie and refuse to get bogged down in things that didn't make sense.

Exactly. Even if the tornado magically lifted even though it was an F-5, the supercell wouldn’t just disappear either.

Such a terrible movie, but I just have to watch it when it's on.

Anyone notice right at the beginning of the movie, when it goes to modern time, they show a computer map inside the National Weather Center? It shows Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma have a 4-Corners border? The extended LA all the way up to even with the top side of Texas, making a 4-Corners.
