I was through almost the entire first season of Game of Thrones before I even sort of got the hype for it.

Started and fell asleep during the pilot multiple times before I fought through.

Never really liked Frasier growing up. Thought it was for a pretentious older audience.

Started watching some reruns. It's freakin' hilarious.

Same here. My younger brother convinced me to watch it in a new light. It's one of my favorites now, one of the few shows I watch.

First couple episodes I thought were lame. Then I got into it. Very creative show.

Family Guy.

Thought it was inane, base, sophomoric and irritating. Now those are the precise reasons I dig it.

Bob's Burgers- Thought it was trying too hard to be quirky and different and just gonna be one of those one season and done Fox animated series and go the way of Greg the Bunny and Andy Richter Controls the Universe. Now its my favorite part of animation domination.

Beakman's World- Was usually when I ended my Saturday morning cartoon watching and went outside to play, it was life action and not Ninja Turtles and I wasn't interested. Started watching re-runs a few years later, loved em.

Jericho- My dad loved this show and I couldn't really get into it. Then went back in college and started watching the re-runs of the first season between classes and there was no turning back. Just wish we could have gotten more of this series.

Parks and Rec. At first I didn't like it because it seemed like they were trying to do another office. I ended up liking it more than the office

Big Bang Theory- I thought Sheldon was a douche and didn't get why they put up with him. The wife and kids started watching all th ereruns, and eventually, I started liking it. Now I think it has run its course.

Bit of a curve ball here. It WAS True Blood. Season 1 was meh but season 2 was great IMO. Then season 3 went off the rails and 4 was just a waste of time so I gave up on it. I went from not caring, to loving it, to hating it.

I was the same way with Glee. Didn't watch, started watching, thought it was funny and loved the music, then started getting too gay, stopped watching.

yeah, pretty much how I feel. I don't hate it, and I will still watch though.

The first season of Parks and Rec is a completely different show. Andy Dwyer went from annoying temp character to possibly the funniest and most likable character on there.

Community took a while to get going.

I hated Parks and Rec the first few times I watched it too, but now it's one of my favorite shows.

Cmmunity for me too. I was convinced that Modern Family was the best sitcom on right now and a friend kept telling me Community was just as good or better. I finally watched 3-4 episodes in a row online and was hooked. Once I "got" it, and the characters became more real to me, I agreed with him.

Glad to hear Dan Harmon is coming back to the show too.

Beat me to it. Once it got away from the Cougar part the show became a lot funnier. And they introduced the Penny Can.....

Everybody Loves Raymond, mostly because it originally aired while in College. Now with a wife, kids, and older parents, it's pretty damn funny, particularly the later seasons.
