I dig the dialog, but at times it sounds less like an actual conversation, and more like the writer's random thoughts about life and death and religion.
exactly. i understand why people are jacking off over it, but it takes away from the actual product on screen

It looks like the show is fixing to get crazy.
i have this feeling they catch the first guy very soon...i hope they do at least

I've only read the last page of this thread. How does this episode compare to the other two? I can't wait till I get home in a couple hours.

developing well outside of the stuff i spoke of after episode 1 that really ramped up again this ep
i'm very curious where they go from here, b/c the option-tree is going to be limited depending on where it goes very shortly

Wow, it took me on the 3rd time to realize the guy in the underwear with the Walter White meth mask (possibly Reggie LeDeaux?) had the tepee wooden thing by him at the end of the episode.
I have a feeling that isn't going to be him. I'm guessing he turns out to be a "normal" criminal, not the serial. But they still arrest and charge him anyway.

You don't need many options in what would be 4 hours in to an 8 hour series.
An I disagree with your dialogue assessment, but we all have our own opinions.

they have to catch the guy soon...and then they're left with only 2-3 eps to wrap up the "present" storyline
if they don't leave enough time for that, then that's going to be a problem
if they leave way little, it's going to be rust

he don't need to love to tap that arse

I don't get what these interviews are though. is it about the case or is it about every little nuance in their lives? sometimes it seems absurd to believe they would be telling these kinds of stories during an investigation on a case.

I think it's going to be Rust, but I don't mind that.
Also, Rust is totally gonna tap Angie at some point.

I think some f te times they are having their own personal flash back. Marty sure as hell isn't telling them about his affair or how his wife likes her panties jerked off.

what we "see" in the past is the truth, and in the case of marty, we see how his story to the cops wasn't the full story
