Wow, that episode was awesome.
These two cops are both very flawed human beings.
Marty is seriously out of control.
I like how Cohle told Marty he was in denial, and then when Marty attacks Daddario's new man, he basically says "I wouldn't attack you like this, I'm not some psycho."

Well I somewhat agree with Slopes in this one. Either it's someone we already know, maybe someone next episode, or it has to be Cohle or Marty. After next episode, I'd hate to have a new character pop up as the killer.

edit: Were there any major serial killers in South Louisiana besides BSL? Could provide some insight in to Pizalatto's influence.

This show is the most intense show I have ever watched. MM and Harrelson are doing serious work. It seems like no scene is a throw away.

No way that Rust or Marty is the killer. I'm thinking it's someone we've already met. Meth cook guy in the tighty wighties may be the guy they arrest at first for 1995.
Also, I'm very disturbed by Marty's daughters, in between the sexual drawings and the Barbie reenactment. I'm wondering if they'll be among the 'kids we found in the woods' or if there's something more to it for the show to keep on emphasizing them. I also think there's a slight chance that Alexandra "demtitties" Daddarrio's character is going to end up as one of the victims of the killer.

I brought up that he could've been influence by the Jeff Davis 8, still at large, but some didnt think that.

That's my hope, but where the hell is a ten year old getting positions, gangbangs, and long schlongs from? Surely Marty isn't THAT careless. Something is off there.
