i think the grandpa shite needs to be put to rest. theres no way he was bringing his granddaughter to shite like that and getting away with it.

The problem is, a lot of what is filmed in one place, is actually set in another place. For instance, when Cohle bums Quaaludes off the hooker in the hotel room, that's filmed in the Capri Hotel in New Orleans. But I think it's supposed to be set in some Podunk town in SW Louisiana.

The older daughter was clearly exposed, the sex drawings, the spiral on the wall. Someone introduced her to that whether on purpose or if she found it accidentally going through their stuff. I say Maggie or grandpa exposed her, grandpa is rich and had some interest in the investigation when he talked to Marty. Maggie could be a huge plot twist and the cause of the falling out. We shall find out soon

It seems pretty clear that she's somehow involved.
shes just a fricked up kid, probably had some shitty influence from friends at school and ran with it. later on she may be preyed upon but as a young kid i dont think the grandpa is molesting her or mommy bringing her to satanic meetings

They have shown Rust driving over the Causeway/Airline interchange a couple times (and its in the title sequence) but I dont think he was supposed to be in Metry.

If this were the case I highly doubt they would have spent as much time on her as they have been. The sex drawings, the "ceremony" with the naked barbie doll, as well as the spiral in her drawings all point to her somehow being connected to this cult. Who knows how she came by it?

I don't know how anyone could think Maggie is in any way involved with the cult.

Maybe it's not grandpa, but it's not "just a young kid" stuff. She obviously saw cult behavior, was abused, or both.

Well, what Is Marty alluding to with his "just under my nose" comments?
Posted on 2/16/14 at 11:53 pm to CE Tiger
In episode one Marty always refers to Rust in the past tence.

I guess since y'all are beating so close to the bush but not quite getting it I'll just tell you who I'm looking at as my primary person of interest in the murder of Dora Lange...

Yes. This was significant. Bookmark it, Rust is already dead. Marty's interview is two weeks later.
