In the cane fields behind Oak Alley Plantation. They had the farmers delay cutting the cane so it was still high in the field.

wow cool story for real. I like this guy even more now. he will be getting some serious acting work following his performance as Charlie Lange. dude is captivating on screen in that role. just two scenes but he is one of the more memorable characters of this show
