It's an instant game changer and makes me completely forget about all the mistakes Sony has made recently. Smart move to throw the bank at Hardy.

With Tom Holland's Spiderman looking to be the real deal, this couldn't be better news. I loved McGuire's Spiderman, but Holland's is even more true to the character for me. Hardy is just a force these days.

Same here. Before I posted, I actually tried to think of some legitimate negatives. If Hardy sticks with it, I can't see this not being dark and awesome.

For me this is bittersweet news. Tom Hardy is an incredible casting and Venom is one of the GOAT villains/anti-heroes, but this just pisses me off more that he's not part of the MCU. Will definitely still watch though.
