The girl who plays Betty has a future. It’s so funny seeing Martin Starr playing an awkward protective teacher when the only other role I’ve seen him in the last 5 years or so is in Silicon Valley.

She was pretty good as Ryan Gosling's daughter in The Nice Guys.

Anyone can look great with $5k worth of make up, lipstick, and hair products thrown on them. She is built like an awkward teenage boy who grew 4 inches the summer between middle and high school. She’s not hideous, but she’s in that tier below Tessa Thompson.
You literally described most of the celebrities and instagram models. She is attractive enough

A more natural MJ would've been her friend Bella Thorne
MJ was a supermodel in the comics- correct me if I'm wrong? It's been a while

Too bad they need someone that can act.

Not sure they do. Just an awkward teen girl that says stuff. Bella could've probably pulled that off.

She would look too old. They need to look like 16 year olds and she'd be able to pull off 18, 19 at best.

Lol.
Zendaya DOB 9/1/96
Bella T DOB 10/8/97

She seems bland in the Spider-Man movies compared to her performance in Nice Guys. I know it's a smaller, less important role, but her personality ain't coming through.

Bella looks 35 from all the meth she's done.

You do understand it's not their actual age that matters? It's what age they appear to be.

Wow- I guess you're right. If only these multi-billion dollar studies had SOME way of making someone appear a little younger. Makeup, perhaps. Maybe a team of people that are skilled in that very arena.
God, it's like some of you don't even think before you type. Have you ever seen a picture of Zendaya when she is at an appearance? She looks all of 21. Ever seen Bella Thorne when she doesn't look like a skank? She fits the image of MJ as a pretty redhead.

Bella Thorne was cute in Blended when they got her away from the Tomboy look.
The House of Mouse hates firecrotches for whatever reason.

No one scene compares to the car ride/homecoming dance scene, but this was great movie about Peters burden and sense of loss.
First act was a little slow, but fine performances by all.
I was hoping for a live Mysterio at the end but oh well.
Post credit scenes were some of the best ever.

I might have been reading into it too much but EDITH never confirmed Mysterio was dead. She only said it wasn’t a projection. Mysterio also alluded to it being fake

Can someone help me out. How did we see Kraven will be the next baddie?
Posted on 7/6/19 at 3:07 pm to schatman
Well since she's not actually Mary Jane I think we're good. Plus all the kids are supposed to be 16 and 17 so I wouldn't be calling for them to look like supermodels

Zendaya is not attractive

Surprisingly, this is the first MCU movie my kids have no intrest in. Guess I'm going solo. Must be burnt out.

Just got out. Loved it. Top 5-10 MCU for me. Jake Gyllenhal was great and this is by far the best version of Mysterio I've ever seen. Tom Holland is the best Peter Parker ever by far. They handled Weird MJ a lot better in this than in Homecoming.
Also, Betty Brant lowkey stole most of the scenes she was in. I'm mad she's not Gwen Stacey but glad they gave that actress more of a role in this movie.
I loved the look Happy Hogan had on his face when he was watching Peter design his suit the same way Tony used to. The feels, man.
