Yeah, I'm not buying that. Something big has to happen tonight.

We say farewell to yet another character.
Plan and Execution might be a clue along those lines.

According to one of the writers, this episode was not meant to be a mid-season break, so we may not be getting a cliffhanger.
I read that, but it goes against what Peter Gould said, and he’s the show runner. It could be Schnauz trying to temper or even subvert expectations after what Gould said, which, I’m paraphrasing, was “something big is gonna happen to a main character, and the audience is not gonna know the outcome until after the break. I hope they’re not too upset with us for having to wait.”
So, who knows. I do know I’m fired up to find out.

As of last episode the mediation starts I a few hours. WTF are they gonna do to fix the broken arm situation? I think they get busted.

Who knows, but they definitely have a plan because we see Kim and film crew out in a field or park, and she is definitely directing something intensely.

It’s gonna be worse than that, I think. I think they save the plan, and it “works” as far as getting Sandpiper to settle. But at what cost? I think Howard’s health, if not life will be an unintended consequence. We sometimes forget that this universe had a pretty benign plan to get Skylar’s boss, who by all accounts was a “good” guy who seemed to genuinely care about his employees and Skylar (yeah, he cut some payroll corners and was pretty stubborn about making things right with the IRS) and paralyzed him. And that was a Saul plan (though insisted upon by Skylar).
And they coldly executed Gale, probably the nicest, chillest character in Breaking Bad. Sure, he was a meth cook, but he was a damn nice one. Better Caul Saul is a different show and so far I think we’ve only seen tragedy befall bad people or at least people “in the game” like Nacho. But as we creep closer and closer to the Breaking Bad timeline, we may start seeing more Breaking Bad like incidents.
And where the frick is Pryce? I thought he’d surely show up this season and be forced to pay his penance. No way he got a taste of that life and just stopped. And no way he gets out scot free.

Lalo is slightly obsessed with whatever the Chicken Man is hiding.

“I don’t want to lose you through the the windshield.” Foreshadowing?
And I bought that Canon XL1-S2 for about $3k in ‘02. Can pick it up on EBay now for about $250.

Kim: “This is where I need to be?” On set or in ABQ?

“Hamlin” sounds like “Hamlet.” He’s the prince, but Chuck was the King of the firm, not his father. Howard’s tormented by his death and his lingering presence/ghost . Maybe he gets fricked up, embarrassed, contemplates Chuck, has an existential “to be or not to be” pondering, and, in his intoxication, decides “not to be” and calls it. Maybe?
