This Howard story arc bores me. Maybe Kim kills him. That would be cool.

Do I have to wait for it to finish before I can watch from the beginning?

looks like next episode we will get more lalo. gus directs the next one which likely give an interesting take on their conflict.

And someone tried to say he wasn’t charismatic. Just charmed a puppy into being quiet.

These last two episodes have been nothing but fillers. I know they all can’t have lots of action, but these literally had me falling asleep.

The inscription on the plaque said “with love, my boys” so Lalo will be using it to track down someone on the excavation crew

Lalo as the boogeyman has everyone on freaking edge . Nobody knows where he’s gonna show up
Gus placing the gun in the Superlab… that’s surely gonna come into play I would think.

certainly. the next episode is called axe and grind, then plan and execution they both have an axe and they need to grind. they both have plans and someone will be executed, seems like a righteous finale.
also howard said to his assistant to cancel his entire week. we only saw 1 night of him boxing jimmy. howard has much more planned and he made jimmy think he hoped it was all finished.

Always thought a great episode title I hope they use toward the end is Crime and Punishment.

oh thats good given the title theme this season.
im curious if the titles have any meaning season 6 considering 95% of other episodes were all 1 word.
one season spelled out FRINGS BACK.

anyone else love howards eponymous client name scheduled with jimmy?
Mr. Ward.
H.O. Ward.
he got some revenge on jimmy, I dont think he is going to let kim slide either, he knows she is involved. he canceled his entire week of clients to settle the score.
Howard is literally fighting back, wonder what he has in store regarding retribution with kim.

Is he wrong?
I said it before when the Lalo going to Germany thing was brought up. Don't find it believable at all.
Guy jumps $7 million bail on a murder charge, is a known drug kingpin, and he's just going to fly off to Europe. Nah, even in 2005 that would be exceedingly risky.
Remind me when Walter and Jesse show up. They stuck what year it is right in our face with Howards Namaste plate. Renewal sticker was Dec 2005, so we are definitely in 2005.

He grabbed the power cord, then had an idea and paced out the steps to where he left it. Like a duel. He’s gonna lull Lalo down there, turn off the lights, walk his paces, grab his gun, turn around, and boom—Lalo winds up buried in concrete, near the oft-mentioned “south wall.”

Yes. It’s a fricking lazy word used by hacks and doesn’t even mean anything. Every episode is filler—filled with information, scenes, choices, etc…He just didn’t like what it was filled with. Fine. Discuss what you didn’t like. Just calling it “filler” is weak.

breaking bad begins '08. If/when they show up it will be a time jump, so far BCS started in '02 and has taken halfway into season 6 to get to '05, and we know several episodes will be dedicated to post BB.

I thought he was trolling there for a while. But now I think it is some kind of mental issue.
notice there was another infamous jimmy and kim in the bathroom scene this episode...
2 toothbrushes consistently shown in the sink during better call saul pre-BB timeline while they are surely together, but saul's house immediately post-BB bathroom being cleaned out only has 1.

I think the reasoning for the split season is to allow the time jump that will be necessary assuming BCS does get into the BB era.
Or, Saul and Walter will meet in passing or Saul will get him out of a parking ticket or some such.
There are obvious reasons for Jesse to meet a criminal lawyer prior to BB.
I could see them doing something like that versus Walter/Jesse being an actual part of the plot.
