Correct, but how many Margarette and Werner Zeigglers share an address in Germany? Particularly ones where the Werner just passed away.......?

All good theories and potentially accurate. I do disagree however.

Jimmy will impersonate the judge in the sandpiper arbitration for some reason (to trick Howard or somebody else (Kliff?)).

Kim simply cannot be around during the BB timeline. It's a cheap, dirty rewriting of the history of BB which undermines the character of Saul (the main character). No way I'll believe this.

She dies. People acting like Gilligan wouldn't kill off a beloved character is silly. Her recent irresponsible behavior underscores this fact.

looking at you mike, gomey, hank.

in this universe just the fact that a character exists puts that character at significant risk of tragic death.

I'm not sure she dies but she is clearly out of the picture by the Breaking Bad era.

For all of the hunting for clues in Saul's house from the first episode this season about whether or not Kim is there, the biggest tipoff for me came from Wendy a couple of weeks ago.

Life for her will get a lot tougher (and a lot more meth-y) for her over the next few years so it looks like Kim is not on the scene to help her out, like she promised.

While your 2nd statement is correct, I don't think it makes much sense for Saul's character in BB if Kim is dead. I can't see Jimmy continuing down the Saul path if Kim dies, unless Kim dies in some unfortunate accident that had nothing to do with Saul.

I mean saul doesnt seem to be doing much in the cartel related world in BB until walt forces the issue, he still didnt even know gus. he hasnt heard from lalo or nacho in years and that was pretty much his only cartel connection.

I dont really see how thats a non-starter if kim is dead. he's just doing criminal law, which is something I dont think he would give up if kim died. maybe you have a point if you are getting at he would get disappeared, but he might not have that connection just yet.

He knew Mike. Gus wasn't dumb enough to have a relationship w/ Saul.

i agree, but that doesn't change anything about my post.
saul doesnt seem very involved in the cartel world in BB compared to where he is in BCS, at least until walt forces the issue. mike is more of a contact 'i know a guy' than a close working associate.

im not saying kim dies, I just dont think it wrecks anything about saul if she does. at his core saul is a sleazy con man, and in early BB he is mainly just doing his sleazy criminal lawyering. he could easily be doing that if kim died. theres about a 4 year gap for him to get his shite together when BB starts.

Jimmy and Kim actually said in the show that they want to get the case settled quickly to get the money so they can do their thing. They want through the whole scenario. This does not require speculation that they are "taking it back."

On the contrary, Wendy getting more "methy" would most likely occur if she was NOT in jail. Kim is a lawyer, not a substance abuse counselor.

why not? I can totally see Jimmy leaning fully into it and basically saying "you know what? Eff my former life, jimmy mcgill is no more, I'm saul goodman now"

Jimmy McGill grew up in the shadow of chuck and was always resentful of it, so after chuck dies he's already teetering between jimmy/saul and even has the DBA filled out to conduct his professional life as Saul. IN present day the biggest thing Jimmy has going for him is kim, so if kim is out of the picture I can see him giving up on jimmy and just living fully as saul.

Of course. Kim is one of the few things that keep Jimmy semi-morally grounded at times. That’s not to say he doesn’t pull Saul shite anyway, because obviously he does. But she is the one pulling him in the “moral” direction just like he is the one pulling her in the amoral direction. If Kim is ever not in the picture, he’s full blown Saul Goodman pretty much all the time.

I don’t think this is accurate for what’s been happening this season.

Only if it happens in a future Gene scene.

Kim and Gene have some form of contact. If you don't see that you don't understand this show.

Any interest in making a bet on who’s right? I’d be willing to make a cash wager or some type of punishment (eg, wear a tshirt for one week straight that says HamSolo was right. J+K=S, or something stupid like that).

I don’t have any interest in a ban bet (never really understood the reasoning behind those). Simply put, I’m willing to bet you are dead wrong and to wager something of some value.

But perhaps I’m just an idiot and everything that is so obvious to you is over my head.

Kim is the one pushing the attack on Howard so they can accelerate the Sand Piper money. Kim is transforming (or we are learning about the true Kim). The moral/immoral line between Kim and Saul is becoming more and more blurred.
