I always assumed Saul wore the ribbon because he was trying to sue the airline and get clients who had claims against the airline for the crash, either because debris hit their home or they had a loved one on the plane.
I agree just another ambulance chaser looking for a quick payday. Also does anyone else remember when Walt was separated from Skylar living in the cheap furnished apartments that Saul shows up saying he stayed there when he divorced his wife? If that was Kim then she’s still alive possibly.

I also think its been Lalo following Saul to get proof of Gus helping in the desert
There’s almost 0 chance it’s Lalo. Otherwise the whole thing in the desert would be pointless. He specifically decided to not go north after he called his uncle who told him to get proof. He was originally going to go north to get Gus. Since Gus and Saul live in the same area, he’s not like he needs another route to get to Saul.
They also showed Lalo specifically driving away from the sign that said US-Mexico border.
I almost guarantee it’s Howard’s PI. Howard’s probably caught on that’s something is going on and he’s tired of Saul’s shite. If Lalo wanted to get to Saul he would’ve crossed the border like planned and met him as soon as possible like last time. He wouldn’t continue to follow them for days.

Saul ducked Howard in the locker room, but Kevin Wachtell (Mesa Verde) recognized Jimmy in the clubhouse and called him out. Kevin knows Howard for sure. So Howard definitely knows Jimmy/Saul is screwing with him again.

I knew Nacho was gonna die at some point. Happy his pops had Mike looking out. I fully expected him to die too.
I hope his dad is actually safe though (with Don Hector now knowing that Nacho is the reason behind his stroke).

Do the Salamancas even know about Nacho’s dad? It was Gus’ crew that was threatening him. I could also see the twins chopping up Nacho’s body and showcase what happens when you cross the cartel.

Yes, for a while Hector was forcing Nacho's dad to use his business for illegal activities. They haven't been threatening his dad currently, so he's probably safe from the Salamancas. We just have to see if Gus holds up his end of the deal.

just caught up
Welp, frick I knew he was gone when he got in that truck, but they really did that right, wow what a scene.
I'm gonna miss this show, what's Vince or Peter Gould working on next?
It hit me in a real visceral way, the only thing that comes close is the Mr. Robot episode where the dude blows his brains out on live TV. (Episode had to be postponed bc a journalist irl had done something similar)
It's the final slipping jimmy setup for the likely finale of the Breaking Bad universe, they'll suck you back in.

thanks for not spoiling, though, not sure what could be spoiled in a prequel on a huge level, a death maybe, other than a Walt and Jessie appearance everyone knows is coming

That was the most gruesome suicide I've ever seen on TV. Visual effects were unreal there

The time span to possibly see Jesse makes a bit of sense... Possibly over the next few weeks at the Crystal Palace.
Seeing Walt is pushing it. Well, I could understand seeing him somehow, but there's really no chance of tying him into the story.
I'd put my house on you seeing both before the end of the series. It's almost 100%

I get it to save his dad but damn he was really in between a rock and a hard place
Episode title also probably references Kim's "rat or friend of the cartel" dilemma for Saul.

Damn... We got 4 years to cram into 1 season. Sounds impossible but hopefully they make it work.
I never expected the 2 timelines to mesh.. surprising that 4+ years later (in BB) he still thinks it's Nacho or Lalo or Cartel out in the desert when Jesse & Walt took him.

It's impossible to see that gif without hearing the Bane voice.

Unrelated but I'm still pissed about Mike's death in BB

Yeah not the way I thought he would go out.. Expected a more grandiose exit.

Yes. He knows he screwed Howard and his firm out of the Mesa Verde case and a lot of money. Doubt they are on speaking terms. However, Howard is not stupid and realizes Saul and Kim are screwing with him.

Yeah he probably suspected Saul as soon as he found the bag in his locker. Saul would’ve been better off if no one else witnessed his fake outburst with the employee and Kevin. Instead he made it as public as possible. An incident as bizarre as that would definitely get talked about in the country club. So even if Kevin doesn’t tell Howard, someone else probably would’ve.
Someone else mentioned not really feeling Saul and Kim’s whole scam. I don’t really either but that’s because I’m feel confident it’s going to blow up in their face. It’s seems too complicated. Also Saul doesn’t seem all that into it still. Kim keeps goading him

Conspiracy theory time;
Blue flower where Nacho died.
Blue Meth kills people
Kim wears blue
Airplane crash ribbons were blue
Blue signifies death in BB/BCS.
It means Kim is going to die this season.
*Yes, this came up in my news feed while taking a dump.
