Not sure what Jimmy is up to or why at this point.
I want to marry Kim Wexler.
That is all.

He’s kind of lost his mind, certainly lost his way, and is looking for easy scores. Gonna steal those dolls, and I bet he gets his hands on one of those copiers that can counterfeit the $5 bills.

Is that from the same line of dolls that that one lady at sandpiper collects?
Posted on 8/13/18 at 10:02 pm to DrSteveBrule
I think so, didn’t he say he knew someone who also collected the dolls?

Why did he turn down the job?
Why is Gus keeping Hector alive?
Why did Nacho pull the gun? I thought he wanted to work for Gus

Gus wants to choose how Hector dies or suffers.
Nacho doesn't want to work for anyone. He wants to get out of the game now that his family is in jeopardy. Now he knows he will never be able to get out.
Nacho acted that entire scene like he knew something was going to happen to his partner. Gus might have made contact with him beforehand.

Why did he turn down the job?
Because he's frustrated. Good guy Jimmy can never get ahead. When he played it straight with them they said they might call him in a week or so.
He came back in full, over the top slipping Jimmy and got offered on the spot.
His frustration comes from Chuck shitting on that part of him, yet it seems like it's the only way he can get ahead in life.
What makes it interesting is that right now he's not proud of his Slipping Jimmy side, but if you go back to the first Gene scene he rewatches his old Saul commercials.
Even after he helped create all that mayham with Walt it seems that's the point in time that Gene desires to go back to.

So, was it always this easy for them to come to America?
Yes. It is very easy for anyone with enough desire or money to come to America.

It seems like it was a big deal for them to come to this country illegally in BB.
I don't remember that. Maybe they were being watched on both sides by DEA/FBI/CIA.
Or you may be referring to the scene in BB where the twins were crawling through the desert, that was a religious ritual thing to with the Santa Muerte.

He turned down the job because they were too "good" or too naive for him to work there. Jimmy was right, they overrode their normal instinct of waiting a week to make a good decision and fell for his huckster pitch. Either too good or too naive, Jimmy couldn't work there.
Or he's setting up a larger con with all of the interviews.
I think the $5 bill comment was a reference to his own past as a con man, as he said he worked with one back in Chicago.

That's not what turned him away. He turned away because he snapped a little bit. Right now his mindset is that he would like to get ahead in life being honest Jimmy, so he can prove Chuck was wrong about him.
The problem is that they weren't really interested in honest Jimmy. The moment he went hard sell as Slipping Jimmy they wanted him right away.
That moment probably feels like a validation of how Chuck felt about him and caused him to lash out.

That may be where he is heading, but he went into that interview to try and get legit work. He was looking through the paper for jobs even before he learned of Chuck's death.
