Insane. I was 17, just about to graduate and join the Army. I saw an early screening by myself because I was so excited and on my way out the door, saw some girls I was friends with walking in.

Bought another ticket and watched it back to back

It’s still one of my favorite movies of all time and the themes still sit with me like the loss of his father and overcoming fear (learn to pick yourself back up). the Ra’s scenes are some of my favorites

Batman Begins turns 20! Ranking every Batman movie, from best to worst

quote:

Much like everyone has a favorite Batman, everyone has their favorite Batman movie. The Caped Crusader has gone through many eras on the big screen, including the Tim Burton/Joel Schumacher quadrilogy, Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, Zack Snyder's Justice League films, and Matt Reeves' The Batman.

In honor of the 20th anniversary of Batman Begins (2005), which reinvigorated the franchise after the divisive Schumacher films, we're looking back on our reviews of each major title since 1989's Batman, ranked according to letter grades given by EW critics upon release.

Holy hell, I cannot believe it’s been 20 years since that movie came out.

It’s also been 2.5 months shy of 20 years since Hurricane Katrina. I forgot they were in the same year.

Honestly a toss up between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight as which is the greatest super hero movie of all time.

That was a very fun theatre experience. Teen Iwy had a pretty good make out session the first time watching it so had to rewatch it in theatres

Nice I remember those days when making out with a girl at the movie theater was such a huge accomplishment

Not a hot take. To me, Batman Begins is the more complete film. Everyone gets lost in Ledger's performance, but the Dark Knight has its flaws. The entire third act with Deebo on the boat is laughably bad. Still a great movie, but BB just has more heart.
