Trailer: NSFW (Language). Seriously.
I'm impressed that they're going very superheroish with the costumes. These look like real life versions of the comic designs.
Thank you, I was wondering if anyone was going to post this... that trailer looks phenomenal, I might actually have to give DC Universe a chance

I'm concerned that they've got Dick Grayson behaving like Jason Todd.

I thought the same thing, but

Not sure about Raven though she looks like something straight out of a shitty CW show.
This was the only thing that kind of bothered me. It looks like a teen-angster that we've already seen in other shows- negasonic teenage warhead with the sads.
I've heard that Starfire is actually dressed as a hooker for a reason to do with the plot. I hope that's true because Kory is not a trashy dresser like seen in the clip. She dresses very sexy but is also naive and not self-conscious about it- you know...like a Swedish girl- She's an innocent sexy. It would be a disservice to the character to make her trashy.

They don't look like they got any of the characters right. Raven seems so damn generic. If that is supposed to be Rick Grayson, then they fricked up. That trailer was not awesome. It was dark and gritty. Dark and gritty with violence and cursing is not a substitution for quality. Daredevil is dark and gritty and very high quality. Nolan's Batman was dark and gritty and very high quality. This is none of those things.
They don't get the characters, they just want to profit off it.

I know, right? That was more of a Dick Grayson than a Rick Grayson.

Whelp, that trailer sucks.

Dick is making the Titans a Ricktatorship.
The second season the Titans will make their base in Blackgate.

That would be season 3. They will spend season 2 at a stupid fricking farm.

Obviously referencing the break in the relationship that drove Dick to strike out on his own and later become Nightwing.
My quote from an earlier post about the "frick Batman" line in the trailer.
Just thought I would put this out there for the people who don't know the history of Nightwing and the Batman and how he came to join the Titans.

Luckily everyone’s favorite DC guy, Geoff Johns, was on hand at Comic-con to elaborate on Robin’s beef with the Dark Knight and how it connects with the show’s plot. “That’s actually part of the story of Titans. This is after he’s obviously split from Batman if that wasn’t clear enough.” Johns went on to explain how the split with Batman matches the shows intended theme of sidekick’s giving it a go without their counterpart. “There’s a story to be told in the series. Dick Grayson is really trying to find a new place in the world — a new spot, a new life, just like all the other Titans are. They’re all lost, and they find one another to form this surrogate family.”
Prepared for the "It doesn't make the trailer any better" responses. Still...that stepping neckbreak though. I'm hoping it's not as emo as it appears either.

Watched the first episode this weekend. (2nd Episode drops Thursday - Minka Kelly intro).
The series has the feel of FOX's Gotham. Same dark tones with slightly less over-the-top acting. A little more violence, and the occasional cussing.
The only standout so far is the Dick Grayson character. The actor has the seriousness down, without dipping into CW levels of moodiness. Raven is okay, Starfire is the least interesting (but her situation is the biggest mystery, so she could step up once we're let in on what she's been up to).
The "F" Batman line plays better as a part of the actual scene. Kori looks like Starfire for the split second that she uses her powers. Gar is just a teaser in this one, but looks decent. No sign or mention of Cyborg.
Hawk and Dove are scheduled for this week's ep. Looking forward to that.
It's a Johns/Berlanti series, so it's about what you'd expect. A CW level show with the added violence and swearing that comes with being off-network. Better acting and less cheese than you get from the CW shows. But less star-power that you get with Gotham.
As a DC Elseworlds series, it's well worth a watch.

Did I interpret the episode like I was supposed to in that Kori has amnesia?

2nd episode was Hawk&Dove-centric and was much better than the first. They're not wasting space by trying to juggle five different storylines in each episode.
The violence and cursing gets amped up past 11 and up to 12 on this one. Hawk dropping F bombs is perfect for his character. He's almost a Comedian-lite in this series.
Hawk & Dove are established crimefighters, like Robin. Gives the series a boost to not have every episode dealing with an origin.
Some real laughs in this episode too. The series isn't self-referential, but there are some funny nods to the excessive violence and language.
Dick Grayson is still the standout character, but Hank (Hawk) Hall is moving up on him.
And Ninka in a Superman T-shirt is something that I didn't know that I needed.
