I had no idea this was happening. This looks like a great fit for him...basically a rebooted Jerry Springer / Maury type of show. I'll have to give it a watch.

I think I might enjoy this even though it is a clear indication of the country's descent into Idiocracy.

I agree. It's probably going to be hilarious, but also make me extremely depressed at the same time.

Tim Dillon is a national treasure. Perfect format for him to shine.

I got real sad for a second until I looked at the handle.

Off the cuff this guy is great. Also great with political comedy and the absurdity of politics.

His podcast is a decent way to stay sane by laughing at the descent with a reasonable take with no filters.
That being said, I think he’s the GOAT Ranter. He’s an ok comedian.
I’ll watch because I support him but his standup isn’t my favorite.

I’m not a heavy Tucker listener but two of my favorite podcasts were Ari and Tim.
You can make any the criticism of Tucker and I won’t disagree with most but he does let his guests talk and expound.
Recently he had Darryl Cooper on and while i didn’t think he was ALL wrong (he did say some things that were out of whack), he did give him room to breathe and share opinions that are outside of the norm.

Anybody watch this yet? I thought it was a fun watch. Tim's riffing is really good in the show.
I also just learned that this is not going to be a series...well, at least that wasn't the plan. Tim wanted to do a special but something different than just stand up, so he decided to do a callback to 90's talk shows.
I hope it does well on Netflix and they get Tim to do this as a series. I'd definitely watch.

thanks for bumping.
i didn't watch any trailers, so it was a surprise setup.
like i said, i think he's hilarious, but don't care for his standup, so this was waaaaaaaaayyyy more up my alley on the type of setting i enjoy him in.
agreed that i thought it was going to be a series. even though i'm 99% sure everybody on stage was an actor, it was a pretty good insight into the ridiculousness of American society. bringing out 3 random scenarios a month could make for a good laugh.
the illegal immigrant wanting to go back because America is to weird and Tim bring out a furry to try and convince him to stay had me laughing.
cousin trying to get his cousin to stop OnlyFansing was cringe, but funny.
nft/crypto dude was pretty hilarious.
also i loved the random Harris, Kennedy, and Trump shirts in the crowd. oh hey... it's the guy that shot Trump!
i'll say this... Tim needs to lose some weight. he goes hard on fatty bombaddy's all the time and he's working himself towards an early grave.
-------
speaking of "being a series" I feel like Netflix could do this and then bring back Schultz saves America and do about 6 a year and have a regular following.
