They keep alluding to the guy being an a-hole.
They were arguing on the phone earlier in the episode. Definitely thinking it is some kind of abuse. They way they all freaked and were rushing out makes me think she's hospitalized.

Kate has become absolutely the worst part about the show and her obesity is really gross and distracting.
I liked the Breakthrough movie she was in, but was still so off put by her rotundness. It's uncomfortable to watch her walk, sit, or just be.
I'm an awful person, and I acknowledge this, but it's really annoying.

Nah, normal people, even if we could stand to hit the gym more often, acknowledge that it's not healthy to be the size of a baby hippo. It's neither normal, nor medically-sound.
Look at the dust-up from last week about Jillian Michaels saying that Lizzo can't be healthy. No personal trainer is going to sign off on a human being the same weight as a beluga whale - I don't care how much they prance around the stage or play the flute while doing so.
All that weight aside, Kate is objectively an AWFUL character.

I enjoyed the new episode.
Poor Randall and poor dead Jack. A little tired snippet of a conversation from a tired dad to his scared son, fricks up his son for life. Telling Randall he’s his one low maintenance kid of the three. And if he goes off the rails the family and Jack will is sad but great writing.
Now that poor kid has to eat his fear and anxiety until it bubbles over as a child and adult. Makes me want to live to 100 as a father of a son. So I can explain to him later. “Oh shite. I was tired or fighting with your mom or just got home from my 3rd 12 in a row. That crap I said was gibberish. I am sorry. “

Pretty tame episode. Was pretty obvious how it would turn out.

So was it Sophie in Kevin’s bed, or Kate’s friend?
I couldn’t tell?

Yep, Kate's friend.
Will watch the next one but not thrilled about a Kate episode.

Definitely was Madison in the bed...
I don't think anyone is fired up about a Kate centric episode at all

Good Kevin episode
It was only a matter of time before he banged Kate’s friend
Im really wondering what all that future shite was all about last season. And why Randall and Kevin aren’t talking next Thanksgiving

I paused it after Kevin spoke with M Night S.
Told my wife, "did you catch what he said to Kevin?".
She hadn't.
He said something like: "Trust me Kevin, this is the best ending. It's what the audience wants deep down, but they still won't see it coming."
I told my wife, "Calling it now, they are going to give every sign that Kev ends up with Sophie, but it's going to be Madison."
Boom.
Overall, a good episode. I like that Kevin is slowly growing, maturing, and becoming a very likable character.
The only way to look forward to next week's Kate-centric episode is to hope it mostly focuses on the teen Kate. I like that actress.
Adult Kate can't die soon enough.

Yeah, I see that happening as well. He had his chances with Sophie but he messed that up. He has finally grown up and is ready but he won't have the girl he should have.
Should be interesting to see how things go.

Do y’all think it’s over for Kevin and Sophie?
I thought the moment after he leaves and she’s looking at the two rings that was meant to suggest Sophie was thinking about the two routes her life could go... Her fiancé or Kevin.
