Damn good episode. That therapy session was intense. When Becca said it was just easier to love Randall...that was so good.
I liked the scenes with the "new big 3" at the bar too. That was a nice little therapy session for them.

Glad to have the show back... also... at some point, does Jack buy this cabin ? It's the same one featured early in season 1 with not much context to it .

So they are making the Kevin character less and less likable? Take the heat off of Kate I guess. He was apparently a miserable kid too.
The Rebecca line about Randall being the only one to not abandon her when jack died is another 2 episodes in itself.

Yeah but she did at least tell him about it. I'm glad they at least had her tell him on her own so Toby didn't have to confront her on it.
I mean...to be fair she did lose her baby.....a situation that would easily make someone that has an addiction potentially slide back into it(and it's clear she has a food addiction).

Very strong episode. I think I need to watch it again to make sure I didn't miss any messages. Lots of things coming out. The session seemed short from what I understand those to be, but maybe they are there for several days. I don't remember if we got a time on how long they'd be there. Great acting.

although the episode went back and forth a little, I think overall, it painted a little better light around kevin than before

So since Rebecca talks about Kevin and Kate abandoning her after Jacks death... is this a subtle hint that Randall stays close for college and doesn't go out of state or Ivy League ???

That is what I would guess. We already know he is the closest of the three kids to his mother(and the least selfish). Makes sense that after his father dies he would not want his mother to be alone.
