I think Lucia started out playing Albie for quick payday, but she has really had her eyes opened and may only be now angling to win his heart.
The exploration and contrast of characters who at least seem to be genuine and those with ulterior motives has really pulled me in. Some of the manipulators seem malevolent (Quentin and Greg), others seem more self interested but well intentioned (Singer with hotel manager) but with possible serious unintended consequences (Harper trying to save marriage).
Ep 6 is excellent. Really playing on sympathies for some characters and building suspense about who will die.

I still think she's scamming him

This storyline is a waste of time, IMO

It's possible Lucia is scamming him. I think her change of mind may only be subconscious but imo it is real. All those scenes a few episodes ago where she was expressing an existential crisis weren't throw away. Nothing in this show is throw away.
You might not care for some of the plot lines like Mia and the hotel manager, and they might not be central to the main death mystery, but the creators placed it there for a reason. That scene with them in bed where Mia, the musician, is playing her like an instrument and Hotel woman is having that experience for the first time, good stuff

I’m sad next week is the finale

Yeah I'm wondering if they are going to try to extort/blackmail her or set her up to have some sort of "accidental death". Greg going back to the states gives him an alibi at least.

Do we think Aubrey Plaza actually messed around with Cameron?
This episode gave me anxiety.

I don't think so. I think she's fricking with him. She's basically putting him in her shoes

I think she did hook up with Cam. Going up to the rooms at the same time was suspect. Hope we find out because that will bother the shite out of me if it isn’t resolved.

I honestly can't decide whether or not Harper fooled around with Cameron. She is definitely acting sketchy, and Cam is a sociopath so he's not really giving anything away. I'm leaning toward them hooking up.

You show respect to that Italian goddess

on second thought probably this because she seems genuinely upset when asking what’s going to happen to them in the previews

Definitely have a lot to resolve in last episode

unless she knew he would come up to the room (so she set up that scene) to play mind games

I think that's what she was doing. Or it was something innocent where Cameron forgot his room key and Harper let him into his room via her room.
The problem is Harper just pushed Ethan over the edge and what she thought would be fun jealousy is now going to force Ethan to confront Cameron...with deadly consequences?

The dichotomy of the set of characters who can find happiness from shite, and those that can't see past the shite is amazing. The difference in world view between Cameron, Daphne, and Jack to Ethan, Harper, and Portia explains why the first three are enjoying themselves and the last three are always miserable.
They did a great job cutting from the beach where Cameron and Daphne were basically acknowledging that they cheat on each other but still loving each other to Jack explaining to Portia why if you can't be happy in the world today you will never be happy. Thought that summed up a lot about the characters in two simple scenes.

Right now I'm thinking that the entire Harper mind game thing is going to end up with her husband going insane and killing someone or himself. She sees how the other couple enjoys screwing with each others' minds when it comes to cheating, but her husband isn't wired that way. Another episode or two and he's going to snap.

Her character has not been setup to be vindictive. She could have cheated, but she totally flipped a switch on her approach with Cam going from despising him to being flirty when she felt hurt. Feels like intelligent introvert passive aggressive mind games.
