Any thoughts on this series? I tried searching for a thread but came up empty.

After reading an article about this not too long ago, it's hard to imagine how this could be worth watching.
Spoiler
They don't even know who was behind the writing of these letters. Not sure what could be scary or suspenseful about watching someone read anonymous letters.

I finished it last night. I’m surprised this show is getting so much buzz, it’s really really bad.

I started to watch but saw some review ratings and decided to pass. Movies being so subjective I didn’t know if anyone else had a different experience.

I finished earlier this week. It's not terrible but also not that great. Worth it if you have nothing else to watch, I guess

Creepy story that doesn't really translate to film.

If they were going to completely fabricate so much of the storyline, why not fabricate an actual ending

I agree 100%.
SPOILERS:
Did John Graff murder his family in the house or not? They led you to believe it happened, then they made you think it was all made up, then the teacher recognized him and asked how his family was. They set up the ending to seemingly reveal that it was Dean and Nora who were terrorizing Karen, but then the real Watcher shows up and murders her dog.

This was the weirdest thing to just throw in at the end with absolutely no follow up.

They were all “The Watcher.” I enjoyed the show, but only after I figured out the tone they were going for. It wasn’t supposed to be super scary, really. It reminded me of that Amy Adams “Rear Window”y Netflix series where she was a drunk who couldn’t leave her house. It had a more satisfying resolution, but wasn’t too serious. This felt similar in tone.

This!!
One of the few shows I have ever hated and the longest 7 episodes I have ever watched. By the 5th episode I dreaded having to watch the last two hoping for answers.

Interesting start but it fizzled pretty quickly. The more they got into the mystery of the house the less I liked it.

I thought it was above average.

After it was over we realized we wasted a day of our lives

I love how everyone wants answers. I want it and I want it now. Lol

Why didn't they put a camera on the mailbox?
IRL and in the show?

Good enough to keep watching until you realize it’s a hot mess.
