I'm late to this episode so I'll try to bring up a few observations based on what we seen and tendencies in TV shows.
1. That black prisoner is going to be a major character. His actions and tone when being questioned by Rick was firm and engaging. He's a similar personality style to Rick but with the solemn boldness of Darryl.
Also, they need more central black characters. They're outside frickin hot Atlanta in the south and we've managed to see 6 black people that weren't Zombies. 6. Three aren't even on the show any more.
2. I'm betting that old prisoner will be your new Dale. Hippiefied. Hooks up with Carol and gets the bed a rocking.
3. If Merle comes back, it's probably with that other group. Creeping around some tree doesn't seem like his thing. He's more of a "protect this house" type of personality. Not some wandering solo pillaging idiot.
4. Carl is a good character. He's becoming independent and responsible. He can only grow into an asset.
5. Lori, you're made at Carl but you obviously don't know where he is. Just give up. You're a pittiful character and I can only imagine how more depressing in the comics. You're stunting Carl's growth as a character and you need to bite the dust.

I hate Lori, but I don't see them killing a pregnant woman, or a woman who just had a child. Maybe once the baby grows a little.
Seems like you can hold a prison against an army, easy.
I can't wait until Sunday.

Negative ghost rider. I think he is a bad guy. He'll do something criminal... my spidey senses tell me it will be to Herschel's youngest daughter... and there will be hell to pay. I think the other convict will be a major character and will fit in with the group well. His skills at breaking and entering will end up being needed/used.

I said something similar to what he said and got bitched at for posting spoilers, when I don't know anything more than what's been shown on the screen.
I also think the white prisoner is a rapist. My hunch is based purely on how creepy he looked. I picked a different target for him though. I had no idea that I might be right until someone started telling me to edit my posts.

I think he's a drug dealer. He said something about how he was into pharmaceuticals at one point, basically saying...."I'm just a petty drug dealer. I'm harmless. Don't hurt me."

Are you saying that someone pleading for his life would not lie to better his chances of survival?

No, but the guy just comes off as pretty meek and non-violent to me. I just don't see him as a rapist.

But maybe he was trying to give them all the benefit of the doubt even though he probably figured they'd be a problem
He was using them to help clear more of the prison.
Rick shouldn't have left homeboy out there to be eaten, though.

You GFY. I was guessing. The guy looks like a pedophile... just a guess. If the show/storyline is predictable, that isn't my fault. frick these threads... fricking crucified for a damn educated guess.

Actually I have no idea if this is the case.the character I am referring to does not match this character on TV background at all. Since the OP made an observation about the prisoner and that in itself is similar to a VERY popular character from the books, whom most people(including reviewers) don't think will appear because he hasn't yet. Maybe some sort of combo of several character is what the black prisoner will be OR just his own unique guy.

I wonder if the Black prisoner(Oscar) will have more lines than Theodore?
