I'm not sure what I've done to dissapoint you.
Like I said, 100% against revealing spoilers that would ruin the comics/show for anyone. But I didn't think what I said about Sophia was a "spoiler."
But it gave GynoSandVagina a chance to bitch and moan so that's always funny

I never put you in the group of spoilers. You are actually one of my favorite posters in these threads.

It was more in response to people saying that those who read the comics consider themselves "cool"

Do you want to trade action figures? I got Sophia, Rick, and I made an old GI Joe action figure into my own Daryl with crossbow and karate-chop action. Oh and I also got the Hershel's farm play-set with the moat expansion pack... so we are all set.

Ok let's just preface everything with... I believe in my opinion (maybe with or without knowledge of other sources outside the tv show) that "X" will or won't happen because it maybe did or didn't happen in other sources. We wouldn't want to spoil anything when the group decide to head to Nebraska next season...

More likely than not. Would drop the production costs even lower. Poster 1: How is the disease/virus transmitted?

I just don't understand what all the conflict is about. Its pretty easy to restrict the discussion to what has occurred in the TV show, and if elaboration on a particular point with comic knowledge is warranted... it still doesn't have to reveal anything about where the show might be going, who is going to survive/die, etc.
I didn't read the comics, but from what I gather, they are pretty good, and the show doesn't really measure up to them. I understand that, but the show still has its entertaining qualities, and for those of us that haven't read the books... I think we are doing a fair job of criticising the show on its own merit or lack there of.
So far, the only thing that would have really pissed me off spoiler wise, is if I had seen the "Sophia is in the barn" predictions as anything but a wild guess. Seeing her come out of there was a huge surprise for me, and one of the highlights of the series as a whole.
If I had read that in a "Well in the comic, Sophia's in the barn..." post. It would have ruined it for me.

I was...at least someone got it was a joke...
Also Nebraska is the name of the next episode, I didn't think that was a spoiler at all as even I have no idea what that means.. heck it could be someone's name/nickname in the upcoming episode.
I was hoping to continue intelligent and amusing conversation as before... However, I don't think asking for clarification on how the virus (if that's what it is) works is a basis to call me out. Regardless if I mentioned the comic or not. To completely dismiss the source material for the show is ludacris, but the fact that they are not following the comics directly doesn't mean bringing up anything about it will destroy the show for everyone.
I still do not think (or recall) spoiling anything about the show in a non-spoiler thread. As for spoiling things in the comics... I don't think I did, but they've also been coming out for over 8 years... if you were going to read them... you prob should have by now.
