Really, why couldn't they just walk up to the walkers and kill them with single shots to the head? No need for a hundred shots.

I agree with almost everything he said on a technical aspect. Guy knows his stuff, and those are perfectly fine, well thought out reasons to not like the show this season. I just didn't agree with 'em, I think he's being a little overly harsh. Dont get me wrong, I don't think last night's episode made up for an extremely slow season, but I still really dug it as an individual showing. I've read the comics, so kinda knowing what's coming takes some of the drama out anyway. I just dig watchin the show cuz it's different. Sometimes I'm just easier to please than others, guess this is one of those times.

Dude...did Dutch and his team only fire single shots into the jungle trying to gun down the Predator? Hell no, it looks way cooler way you're capping off some serious rounds.

A mixture of gun fire and some farm implements would have been superior in this regard.

Funny thing is that TWD is in issue #91 and Sophia is still alive and kicking.
Granted you mostly forget she's even around, but still. She didn't last long in real life Z world

That's really going to haunt you for 91 issues of this comic?

you could never have been biten, die of a gun shot and still come back as a walker.

Hold the phone. So anyone that dies after Z-Day becomes a zombie? Even if they have never come in contact with one?
Hmm...just to throw this out there: What happens if you originally die from a gunshot wound to the head?
And not having read the comics, I'm going to speculate that you must either have the virus (dormant until death) or get the virus through a zombie bite in order to become a zombie. I don't think everyone has the virus because it seems like I remember non-zombie dead people too.

quote:no shite. i know the show and the comic have diverted. But what about people who are reading Issue #32, people who want to read it in the future, people who have this shite on their christmas list. Like this guy --->The Dude Abides. That's a major spoiler. And it's a epic douche bag maneuver to ruin shite like that.

Spoilers don't only apply to the TV Show for fricks sake.

I think the "everyone has the virus" thing was from something other than the comics for TWD. A different zombie world.
Walking Dead has the you get bit, you die of the sickness, you come back hungry, type of thing going on.

I can think of a major character that didn't get bit, and came back as a zombie.

I can think of at least three including the one you are referencing. However, to get into a discussion with proof would provide major spoilers. The issue is: if you get bitten on an appendage and then that appendage is cut-off, can you survive? If you can, how does that jive with everyone possibly carrying the "disease"?

This. Heck, weren't there a ton of them just last week in the suburbs that Shane and Andrea visited? And I remember a guy in a tent and I'm pretty sure there were people dead in cars throughout the series and maybe some soilders outside of the CDC (and perhaps in the hosptial where Rick was?)

This is the weakest "spoiler" of all time

he problem is Shane and Rick are both alphas. You can't have two alphas in one pack
You can if they are both smart alphas like Rick.
Two shanes would have killed the group long ago.

i think they raided the cdc for the ammo, that is the only explanation. if you remember the scene with one of the guns, the doctor said there were plenty where it came from but no one to use them.

I know how the virus works in the comics and I don't believe the same holds true for the TV series.
sophia could very well have been bitten by a fat slow zombie cause she fell asleep and woke up too late. Her mom will probably have nightmares next year telling us how she became a walker. Could have been infected like the little girl in the opening scenes of the pilot that rick ends up shooting.

Rick is not smart. He's a ZA retard.
And two Ricks would have them deader than shite as well. They are both miserable failures without the other.

They probably picked up ammo in the same way they seem to be able to pick up all sorts of medicine when they need it. Its really not a plot hole. Its Georgia. There is ammo all over the place I am sure.
I do think the fact that they can walk through the dead military at the CDC and not come out with military weapons, pretty silly.
