I'll watch the movie, to see what happens to Rick.

He’s gonna be a cop in the new world or something full circle or everyone ends up dead.

Yeah, I just don't see what kind of "happy ending" they could possibly end up with in the ZA. I don't think the ending in the comics (which I've only heard about) really allows for a "happily ever after" situation. My guess is that they'll somehow survive whatever is coming and eventually find some kind of hidden Shangri-La or something.

With lesbians.

They’re going to find out the rest of the world is watching this unfold in North America like a sadistic Truman Show.

I didnt read the comics but I heard about how it ended. I really hope they don't go that route and give us something more definitive, but thats probably exactly what we will get.

I was hanging by a thread with this show after they wrote off Rick. Last season killed it for me. The Daryl episode was the last one I watched.

Might have to force binge it to just finish what I started

Eh considering how the comics ended and that certain character is dead I highly doubt it'll end like that even if they replace them with another character it won't have the same impact. Shame we don't get the iconic death and iconic zombie kill

All you will probably really need to watch is 3 or 4 key episodes out of almost 20

The Negan episode was the best in a long time.

Watching the first episode. I see they’re using the camera techniques from Spartacus now.

1st episode of season 11 is really, really good. If you've given up on the show, I suggest you get back into it.

I disagree. It looked cool, but it’s like they wanted to make all of their mistakes in one episode.

Can we get a spoilers tag in the thread title so those of us who have watched can discuss?

Or we can make a new thread and tag it with Spoilers.

BTW, it was a really good episode to me. One of the best in a long time. Tons to talk about and tear apart..

So Neegan is a good guy now?? Haven’t watched since he killed…whoever. After the Great RV Limbo road show.

It looks pretty good, especially knowing that it's actually going somewhere this season.

Don't be deceived. 95% of almost every episode will still consist of 2 - sometimes 3+ - people having a quiet conversation about life, general shite shooting and/or how things are in their communities.

Virtually minimal suspense or tension other than the occasional "OMGZ! A ZOMBIE CAME FROM AROUND THE TREE! LUCKILY THEY KILLED IT IN TIME"... Now back to the quiet conversation the characters were having about light bulbs.

so how many major factions are there 4? 1) the old fashioned military marchers, 2) the black suits/helmets black helicopter with lesbian pilot althea plot, 3) the storm trooper squad, 4)the show's running protagonist faction. some of them might simply be different wings of the same organization instead of a new group.

my synopsis for the season is the communities rebuild again, likely will involve more merging and conflict with/between groups.
towards the end of the season some members of groups will splinter into subgroup parties that converge to create the inevitable cliffhanger that is the jump off point for the movie.
watching this season likely to only be a mild-moderate amount more entertaining than the fun you had reading my synopsis.
